Well, great gig : a guy tried to hit me as the Damned started to play, so I had to pay him a beer to calm him down.
Suddenly a drunken punkyard jumped on stage and began jumping weirdly around. He was so good at it that the band stopped to play and left the stage to him, with Sensible leaving him play his guitar and barf in the microphone.
It lasted a few minutes, with everybody (on stage and not) laughing, then the punk was sent down the stage, happy as he never has been before. He must be 40 years old or more I think.
Anyway, The Damned played a damn good mix of old, historic stuff (New Rose, Love Song, Neat Neat Neat and all the songs you all surely, or MUST love), and new things from Grave Disorder, and making everyone happy.
Fuck
it, at least they made me feel that way.
bye bye,

Another...
Goddamn wild show!!!
The ol'grandpas kicked on and on... one foot tall stage and sweating shouting humanity ranging from headbangin' teenagers up to deranged thirty-forty-year-olds fightin for a beer lost in the pogohell.
Evidence is, rock'n'roll is still burnin in the guts of this band!
Old songs, younger ones, no matter what chords they hit, THEY ROCKED!!! A sublime "say captain - say wot" was a rocket in the ass, and ended up with a denim-dressed boy wildly kissing his author.
Near the end of the show the club's owners fell in panic and hurled a dozen bouncers to defend(?) the band from the crowd...imagine the mess that came out after this clever idea. More than twice Captain Sensible got me out of their clutches, but they finally caught me in the nose. Well it's all right. best rock'n'roll gig since years around here!!!
