The night started ominously in my home town of Caerphilly, where us
ageing punks waited on the arrival of our transport for the evening.
We
had been to the offy and were ready to hit sunny Bridgend with our
punk minibus tour. On arriving we headed for more rereshment in Wetherspoons
in Bridgend town. After 3-4 pints we were ready to face the wrath
of the DAMNED.
We
missed all other acts (sorry other bands) but were informed by Captain
that both groups were good. The Damned were on form and the welsh
crowd lapped up the performance. Most amusing incident of the night
was Captain and bouncer pushing nude stage diver of stage straight
onto his head ho ho ho and also Dave's new Dali-esque moustache guaranteed
to tickle the ladies' fancies.

I
would like to give my own version of events at the gig in Bridgend
Recreation Centre on 24 Sept 04 as I was the nude stage diver.
I was welcomed onto the stage by the security men and Captain seemed
2 b enjoying the performance. He was clearly unhappy with the way
I was pushed as I was obviously no threat 2 anyone.
Captain
encouraged me 2 get back up there. So Decadant Declan who claims that
Captain pushed me off stage. U must av been pissed m8. Got free tickets
4 SLF gig the following Thurs in Cardiff. So ha ha 2 u m8. Try it
yourself sometime!
