Holidays In The Sun - Morecambe

6th - 8th July 2001 (Damned featured on 8th)

Its been a few years since i last saw the Damned - about 1998.

As it is the 25th anniversary of punk (and for the Damned) i thought I'd take a look while i was at Morcambe. I must say, i was impressed. The sound was a bit 'iffy' but the band were spot on. They had taken on a slightly 'harder edge' which everyone seemed to enjoy. They did quite a few of the old favourites and a few new songs, which I enjoyed even though they're new to me. There was plenty of moshing going on and a good time was had by all.

Here's to the next 25 years!
