Well, before the gig Pinch and Captain Sensible noticed they were not playing with two bands going by the name "The Briefs" and "Toilet Boys" but rather "The Beefs" and "Boys Toilet" as what the sign said outside.

The Briefs couldn't have been more energetic and full of wacky ass robot movements. First time seeing or hearing of them and they were absolutely great! During the set, at the beginning of all times, Pinch got onstage and dropped many stinkbombs which of course smelled horrible. While dropping one off he got smacked in the face by one of the Briefs guitars while he was dancing around.. Instant karma I'd say because those damn bombs smelled bad for a good fifteen minutes. So, the Briefs did a very great job and I'd say go see them if you can!

Unfortunately I can't say much of the same for Toilet Boys. They had energy but it was rock and roll almost by the book. I guess I'm just confused because I could not tell if the singer was male or female. I kept thinking "Wow I feel bad for them if that was a girl.... but I'd feel bad for them if it was a guy too." Don't ask what I thought it was. We are all female the backside so whatever. They did set their guitar on fire and play with flames so that was good but gimmicks don't last long and well.. I just couldn't dig their music.

The Damned were very good. Played a lot of their new songs and I guess that some people did not like that but ya know what? I wouldn't wanna keep playing the same set forever. They did play "Smash It Up" and several older songs. We got witty commentary by the Captain and the band. These guys were jumping around like seven year old ADHD children. Especially the Monty! Haha! He was great! He was really into it and made me laugh out loud! He was one of the people to watch! David damn near fell over the stage at one point but he never lost beat with the song. They were all doing something. Captain Sensible came out in some pink womans tutu dress and shook his ass at the crowd, played a song... Then the end of the show!!! Here comes Sensible onstage with his ass hanging out of the tutu and here he is shaking it at us all again but Captain is much more clever than to just do that! No, he pours water all over his buttocks, flings water at the crowd and then prances offstage like a school girl, ass still hanging out.

All in all it was one of, if not the greatest show I've been to.
