The Corporation - Sheffield

Having finally arrived at the Corporation (having asked 3 coppers who seemed to know absolutely fuck all about directions around Sheffield) we found it shut!

Having tried out a couple of local boozers (The Cannon near by is the biggest shit hole I have ever been in!!), we returned to the venue & ran into D.V. and Patricia outside. Both were looking cool & stopped to sign various items for a few of us who asked.

Can't remember the order of songs but recall thinking the "new" stuff sounded really good. There was some banter, Captain finished his drink & jokingly I offered him mine "Fuck off you've probably pissed in it." came his reply. Monty has to be the maddest keyboard player around!! Pinch proved he is as meaner drummer as Scabies (no mean feat). Patricia did well on bass & added some glamour to the band!! Mr. Vanian's voice just gets better & better. He must be one of the most under rated frontmen around. They also seemed more "together" than ever before.

As 'Smash It Up' came to a close, the band left the stage leaving the crowd calling for more & at least one punter very happy, very drunk, & eagerly waiting for the next time!!
