Approx. 1 mile from the city centre, heading towards Rusholme. The Academy venues are located before the Hospital and after the University Shopping Precint. The venues are within the Student Union building. Nearest train station Oxford Road (5 mins) or Piccadilly (15 mins). Nearest Metro tram station is St Peters Square (15 mins) or Piccadilly (15 mins).

Doors Open: 7.30 pm

Age Restrictions: Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult. ID is required at all bars. Some events (mostly club nights) may be Over 18's only - please check with the venue to confirm.

Parking: Official car parking for the Union and its venues is in the Contact Theatre, next to the Academy. Access to Theatre Car Park is via Denmark Street off Oxford Road. Turn right on to Acomb Street and right at end (onto Dilworth Street), over the humps to the car park entrance two hundred metres up on the left.

There is a large multi-storey car park on the corner of Grafton Street and Oxford Road which is 1 minute's walk from the venue.
