Raditz is the weakest of the saiyans, he is Goku older brother. He first appears at the beginning of the Dragonball Z series where he arrives on Earth to check on Goku, and notices that Goku did`nt complete his mission(unknown to Goku) to destroy what life was on Earth and prepare it for sale. Raditz was the one that told Goku of his saiyan heritage up until that moment Goku did`nt know that he was from outer space.
When Raditz first confronted Goku he knock him flat and took Gohan to try and persuade Goku to return with him because he was one of the four saiyans left in the universe. It was Gohan who tip the scales against Raditz when he saw his father getting knocked around by Raditz he went in a fit of rage and slammed straight into Raditz and knocked him flat this gave Goku the opportunity to grab Raditz and he was blown away by Piccolos special beam cannon(sadly Goku was killed as well). Raditz power level was something like 1,000 give of take a hundred. |

| These two showed up after Raditz was defeated they heard the transmission on Raditz scouter about the dragonballs and decided to fly there to ask the dragon for a wish. This is where we first see Vegeta the Prince of the Saiyans, theres more of profile on him in the good guy profiles but I put him here as well because he was originally a bad guy. Here we see Vegetas ego in all its glory because he has yet to find his match in combat(other than Frieza of course but he will soon overcome this) then he comes across Goku who he underestimates because to him Goku is a low class saiyan fighter(like his father Bardock: See movie Bardock:The father of Goku). This is where Vegeta gets his pride struck down by a fighter who is greater than him not mentioning that he is graded as a low class saiyan when after a grueling battle he loses and only escapes death because Goku lets him leave. As for Nappa he gets thrashed when Goku gets back from King Kais place, Nappa does`nt even lay a hand on him and Goku just pounds him, because of this defeat Vegeta finishes him off. |  |

I think that Frieza is Gokus first real battle because even though Vegeta was a challenge for Goku with Frieza Goku would have lost if he did not turn into a SuperSaiyan. Up until Goku defeated him Frieza was the most powerful fighter in the universe not even some of the Kaios could beat him(King Kai, King Yama...), Friezas father is King Cold and he also has a brother that fights Goku in a couple of episodes his name is Cooler. Frieza was first seen in the saga of his name where he heard of the dragonballs threw Vegetas scouter and he found out that Vegeta is openly conspiring against him so Frieza decides to head to the Planet Nameck before Vegeta.
Frieza has three other forms than his usual appearance. Each transformation changes his appearance, after his first transformation Frieza looks a lot like his father King Cold, he gains height his horns stick up lke King Cold as well but his power increases dramatically, after his second transformation Frieza looks like one of the aliens of the movie "Aliens" with a curved head and everything he also has a cool voice like theres two high pitched voices talking in this form not even the Piccolo fusing with Nail can defeat him, however Gohan after going into one of his tantrums knocks Frieza with a huge Masenko blast. |

| Friezas final form is awesome after looking at his previous forms you would think that his final one would be a lot bigger and uglier but know he is smaller that his usual form but in this form his power level is at one million but Frieza did not power up till Goku went SuperSaiyan and thought he could beat Goku(in the end we know who won!).
After getting sliceed by his own attack he was found drifting in space(luckily his race can breath in space)by his father King Cold and given a whole new body mostly bionics which made Frieza twice as powerful as before and with his father set off for Earth to seek vengence. When he got there the Z team along with Vegeta could believe how strong Frieza was and knew they could`nt win but Trunks turned up and killed both Frieza and King Cold like nothing and that was the quick end of Frieza. After the cell saga we see Frieza again when him and Cell try to defeat Goku again but that was a waste of time. |
