A) Membership- Violet Dutra reported 171 current members. During the month of December, two new members joined: David Maghoney and Eudosia Juanitas. FANHS has a video camera, TV, and VCR available for use. An inventory form of all items donated will be created and will have an identification number created for them. Anita Bautista and Stephanie Teczon will work on this process. They will look into how other museum document their items and create a system for future use by the National Museum.
C) Education -Deanna and Moreno Balantac were not present. Violet Dutra spoke on their behalf. Deanna and Moreno would like to continue with the photo album and remain as Historians. However, someone else will need to serve as Chairperson of the Education Committee.

d. Having an information booth and sell items at the Chinese New Year Festival (Follow-up with Dennis Lee)
e. Host a Wine-tasting fundraiser
f. Plan for the Annual Events:

ii. October Recognition Dinner
Due to the high cost to have a booth, it was suggested that we possibly partner with other organizations. We should check with Stockton and the surrounding areas for the Calendar of Events for possible fund raising.
E) Exhibit -Virginia Melear and Anita Navalta Bautista announced there will be an exhibit at the Troke Library of early Filipinas. Also on display at the meeting were the billboards previously exhibited at the Cesar Chavez Library in December. Bob Cabigas assisted with the exhibit for the Veterans Exhibit in November.

9. Communication
It is estimated we will need at least 30 volunteers for this event. Volunteers will be organized to assist with the golf tournament and/or the picnic. Food for the picnic will be catered. Mel is currently taking bids for this. Stockton FANHS will look into partnering with other organizations such as Little Manila, Pilipino Kilusan of UOP and Edison, Fil-Am Lions, Fil-Maps, and especially other FANHS Chapters. After all, although the FANHS Stockton Chapter is hosting this event, this is a fund-raiser for the FANHS National Museum. We will encourage all chapters to assist in some way. A master list of those to invite, those who may be interested in sponsoring the event, or those wanting to donate for this event is being compiled. Contact Mel as soon as possible if you know people or organizations who may be interested. Those who may know of others interested should notify Mel as soon as possible. Committees may meet as often as needed outside of the monthly meetings. Mel displayed examples of items contained in the golfer gift bags. A follow-up meeting has been set at Dick Teczon's house for Monday, January 16th at 4:00 pm.
b. A museum site has not been finalized, because the owner of the once Rizal Social Hall does not want to sell but partner with FANHS. FANHS may need to consider another site.
c. Stationery - A sample of the FANHS National Museum stationery was passed for members to view. This stationery will be used for all correspondence on behalf of the FANHS National Museum, because the FANHS Stockton Chapter heads this project. Stephanie Teczon will follow-up with Terri Torres on coordinating appropriate stationery identifying both the Stockton Chapter and the National Board of FANHS.
