A discussion of coordinating 'annual' events with sister chapters was discussed. - Sunday, June 4th - The Filipino Fiesta and Parade in Sacramento at the Jose Rizal Center. If interested in participating, tropical attire is worn. Those interested should contact Sacramento FANHS President Lisa Wire for further information.
- Stockton FANHS members met with David Hosley and Don Young of PBS, Channel 6, who are coordinating a film documentary on Filipinos. It was suggested to focus on the period from the 1920's through 1949. As he requested, Terri submitted eight photos to David Hosley - included were a 1928 photo of four men, field workers, a queen candidate, the Quezon Hotel, and a military veteran. He will use the photographs in a proposal to seek funding for this project.
The proper form for release of photos and FANHS information and the issues of copyright were discussed.
