SPECIAL REPORT:
FANHS NATIONAL MUSEUM PROJECT: Since Mel La Gasca had to leave early, he reported on the next Golf Tournament and Family Picnic plans. The proposed date for the golf tournament is May 12, 2007. The discussion centered on the possibility of the golf tournament being the Museum Fundraiser and the Family Picnic being a Stockton FANHS chapter fundraiser, and the possibility that they be held on separate dates. Mel is working on the arrangements for the Golf Tournament plans. The Family Picnic may possibly be an “Adobo Cook Off” or some sort of cooking contest.
The National Museum Project Planning Meetings will be held at the end of each Stockton Chapter regular monthly meeting from 1PM and ending at 2 PM. “To Do” list items include meeting with Little Manila Foundation on future plans, contacting National FANHS office for non-profit Federal Tax Information, updating existing brochure, and working on a promotional CD/DVD.
