• Pikesville, MD to  Sloatsburg, NY (I-695 & Greenspring Rd - Exit 22, Pikesville, MD to Rt 17 & Seven Lakes Dr - Sloatsburg, NY) - from Mapquest - these directions will take u from near Baltimore, MD to approx. 10 miles from Lake Tiorati in Harriman State Park.   To reach Lake Tiorati while traveling north on Rt 17 to Seven Lakes Drive from I-87, u should take a right on Seven Lakes Drive and travel approx. 10 miles until u come to Lake Tiorati (the lake is on your right). U intersect Arden Valley Rd at Lake Tiorati.   The Appalachian Trail crosses both Arden Valley Rd and Seven Lake Drive. 
  From the circle at Lake Tiorati u can reach the AT by doing the following:
    AT & Arden Valley Rd - 3/10 miles on Arden Valley Rd, the picnic area will be on your left, teh AT crosses at the top of the hill
    AT & Seven Lake Drive - approx 1 mile on Seven Dr towards Palisades Parkway or Bear Mountain, NY
