Hey to all southbounders (u too,

Thought u may
want to give this 2002 southbounder feedback, see his msg below.
Since I

will NOT be shared w/o your permission, so since "Brian E" doesn't have
your e-mail I will act as a go between for the questions from "Brian E". I
tell u wjhat rather than do that, unless yall (pass SOBOs send me an e=-mail
EXPLICITEDLY" instructing me to not put your e-mail in the "open" (i.e., using
TO: or CC:), I will send "Brian E" question(s) to yall & CC: Brain E &
that way he will have all of you SOBO e-mails & then he can REPLYAll with
his questions... sound okay, I will do this unless I hear different from u

Hello,
My name is Brian. My fiancee and I are
planning to hike the AT southbound in 2002. I subscribed to the list to gather
information that would help us plan this thing. We have been backpacking
for about 5 years and have steadily been reducing our base pack weights.
We are especially looking for insights from people who went (or are going)
Southbound.
We are also considering bringing our dog, but this is not a
definite. I know this is something of "hot" issue, and I am not interested
in getting into an argument over the pros/cons. I am however interested in
hearing from dog owners that brought their dog with them concerning any special
issues they had to deal with.
Thank you in advance.
-Brian E.
