14: Ichiro hes a good back up a wr.
15: David chambers i was just taking anyone here.
Best pick is donnavon harrison
Worst pick was chicago defense.

QB- Boomer Thundakowski. Round #1

Reason- Great intangibles - smart, hardworking, tough and with outstanding leadership skills and poise. His teammates look up to him and he often delivers in the clutch. Experienced , and he sees the field well. Finds the open man and delivers an accurate pass. Great scrambler who can hurt teams with his feet.

WR- Billy Kirch. Round #2

Reason- Combines outstanding size and strength with fine athleticism and speed. Can simply dominate games - creates big match-up problems for opposing defenses. Very competitive on the field and very confident in his ability. Physical. Needs to run crisper routes. Can make incredible catches, but also drops some that he shouldn't. Will be a great target for Boomer and/or O’neill.

RB- Parker Anderson Round #3

Reason- Big, instinctive running back who runs with fine balance. A decisive and very efficient runner...picks his spot and then goes for it. Runs with his pad level down. Hits the hole quickly and shows some elusiveness. Fine vision and a good cutback runner. Very productive. Good receiver and makes big plays in the passing game. Very Quick. Was hampered by the Anchorage O-line,but gets a better chance with Philly.

WR- Billy Goortie. Round #4

Reason- Has decent size and superb athletic ability. Fast, quick, and explosive. Has good hands and makes big plays both as a receiver and a runner. Very quick in his routes and accelerates nicely. Decent, but not great, hands. Great field vision - does a lot of damage after the catch and on reverses. Completes the 1-2 combination for the QB.

RB- Berni Smith(Rookie) Round #5

Reason- Fast and quick. Gets to the hole quickly and hits it hard. Shows good elusiveness, balance, and toughness. Has a burst and the speed to break big runs. Not powerful, but he can break tackles. Has fine instincts and vision. Will do it tough with the O-line St Louis has, but worth a shot with Anderson already on board.

WR- Donte Bates(Rookie) Round #6

Reason- I was looking to draft a 4th wideout, and did so with this pick. Will be solid,if needed during the season. He aint no Soester, but who is??

DEF- Philadelphia. Round #7

Reason- Well, I obviously needed to draft a defence, and Philly was probably next best. Got some decent DB’s, and wortha shot at this late stage.

TE- Santana Gutierrez. Round #8

Reason- A complete tight end who can catch and block. Santana combines excellent size with good strength and speed. Athletic with fine hands. A clutch player. Intelligent. Competitive and tough. My first choice at TE. If he was on any other team then Honolulu, he’d be one of,if not the leagues best.

K- Sean Day. Round #9

Reason- Who the hell gives a reason for drafting a certain kicker? If I have to say why, well, Honolulu’s offence isn’t that great, so he should get a lot of chances to put the ball between the uprights.

DEF- Honolulu. Round #10

Reason- What would you rather have? Honolulu,or Cleveland? Yeah, me too.

RB- Nick Tebben. Round #11

Reason- Combines very good size and athletic-ability for his size. Has fine balance and toughness. He has struggled in Honolulu, but at his best,is an instinctive and explosive runner who could beat you with power or speed. Last season, he ran into a lot of tackles and didn't break as many of them as he did in the past. Was going for depth, and at his late round,he was an OK choice.

QB- Terry O’neill Round #12

Reason- Has great size and a strong arm. Pocket passer who lacks mobility. Has good intangibles - smart and a leader. Was taken #1 overall in ASFL draft 2 years ago. Makes a fine backup for Boomer.

WR- Ricky Starr. Round #13

Reason- Combines excellent size and athletic-ability. Fast and smooth - but more of a long-strider than quick. Can get deep and he has good hands. Tough - he catches over the middle and runs well after the catch. Was looking for depth, and added him in late rounds.

RB- Marcellus Collo. Round #14

Reason- Depth, but a definite reach. He is a powerfully built back who runs with his shoulder pads low to the ground - the kind of back who is very tough tackle. Instinctive - has good vision though he really isn't a very elusive player. Very competitive and intense. Lacks top speed and needs work as a pass catcher though he seems to have good hands. Will have to steal some carries to be of much use.

TE- Bart Armor. Round #15

Reason- Big tight end who will provide good depth at the position. Has fine tools. Athletic for his size with fine quickness and agility. Could be a diamond in the rough.

Aaron Focker 1
Lance Letters - QB
Round 1 (1)

Why?: How can you not draft Lance Letters first overall? Ring of Honor all 4 seasons, he has won the MVP award twice, and best QB Award all 4 seasons. If you didn’t draft Lance first overall, my question would be, why?

Marcus Mack - RB
Round 2 (16)

Why?: Marcus had almost 1,000 yards rushing last year along with 12 TD’s. He only fumbled twice, so he knows how to carry the football and being behind Lance Letters is the perfect spot for Mack. According to the Position ranking, Mack is rated 9th among RB’s for predictions this season. Why choose him so early? Only reason why he is rated so low, is because of his rushing yards. I think he will have a lot more then 941 this year and move up that player rating.

Ryan Moss - WR
Round 3 (17)

Why?: A lot of the great WR’s were taken. Ryan Moss and his 1,000 yards receiving and his 9 TD’s were just sitting there staring me in the face. I needed a good weapon for Letters to throw to and I got him. Now all Ryan needs to do is to be able to catch Letters’ passes.

KJ George - RB
Round 4 (32)

Why?: I was really surprised that KJ was still here at the end of the 4th round. According to the rating page, he was sixth overall last year. So I didn’t get stuck with a luck guess in Mack, instead I got a reliable yardage gainer in George and a great set up of two running backs. If Mack aint doing it, George can pick up the slack.

Samer Smith - WR
Round 5 (33)

Why?: Samer had 9 touchdowns last year and only caught 38 passes. Getting him 33rd is a huge lift because now Letters has 2 main threats to throw at and not just one guy for the defense to worry about. Will I get a third threat? Hmmm.

LA Smog - DEF
Round 6 (48)

Why?: Why? Why isn’t even a good question in this case. Los Angeles has the best defense in the ASFL, hands down. I know that if Letters can run my offense and get me some points, Los Angeles’ defense will absolutely shut every else down. Almost all of their defense is 99 rated players and the players that are not, are really close. Too good of a defense to let go any farther.

Juan Kross - WR
Round 7 (49)

Why?: Formerly known as Dajuan Moss, he caught 37 passes for 800 some yards and 8 touchdown. Good pickup in the 7th round? Yeah I think so. Now I do have 3 threats for opposing defenses to worry about. I wanted to get my Wide Receivers early so I didn’t have to worry about starters later.

Dan Gonzalez - TE
Round 8 (64)

Why?: Dan only caught one TD pass last year, but was among the league leaders in receptions. 4 TE’s were already gone and I needed to get one quickly. Dan plays for the Canes and I think will have a return year. About 1, maybe 2 TD’s but his receptions is what I drafted him for.

Ryan Maynard - K
Round 9 (65)

Why?: Games can be won and lost in the kicking game. In my opinion Ryan is the best kicker in the ASFL so I decided to make him the 2nd drafted kicker. Alex Reyes was drafted before him. Getting a kicker in round 9 is mainly what you want to do. Maynard was on the All ASFL team for season 4 and I do believe he will repeat that performance. He was 30 for 30 in attempts last year and I don’t expect him to miss anytime soon.

New York D12 - DEF
Round 10 (80)

Why?: I went out on a limb and drafted the New York defense. They made a lot of progress in the off-season to make their defense better and I think it will show. They will not be a Los Angeles, but they will do a lot better then what people think. I think at one point in the season, this team will have the best defenses in the ASFL.

Danny Golds - QB
Round 11 (81)

Why?: Danny Golds was drafted 3rd overall in the Season 4 rookie draft and will be the starter for the Vipers. A great quarterback to start on any team. Too bad he is the backup for Letters. My main reason for drafting Golds is so no one else can have him if they wanted him. If something happens to Letters, its not like I wont have a good quarterback waiting on the sideslines.

Joe Schmoe - TE
Round 12 (96)

Why?: Now that I think about it, Joe might even start over Gonzalez. It really depends on how each player shows himself in the opening week. Joe was first off drafted as a backup for Gonzalez but now its going to be a battle between them.

Greg Kowalczyk - WR
Round 13 (97)

Why?: Kowalczyk was pretty much a depth pick. Only 3 WR’s start, so he will not get in unless someone gets hurt. Greg was selected just in case. Nothing else but a backup pick, which is very good in a fantasy game.

Tucker Gordon - WR
Round 14 (112)

Why?: You can never have enough wide receivers. With this pick, I really should have drafted a back up running back unless something happens to George or Mack but I will just pick up someone. Gordon will not be a waste and might even get in ahead of Kowalczyk.

Jason Mare - K
Round 15 (113)

Why?: Mare was a trading pick. I am really hoping that someone’s kicker goes down then I will have a good one to trade away and pick up my running back I need. So right now I would count on a kicker going down to injury then jumping on the opportunity to trade Mare away. Best Pick of the Draft? Why? Lance Letters of course. Letters is the leader of the Sharks and would be the leader of this team as well. The quarterback position is the hardest position to play and Letters does it with ease. He knows how to set up his offense and can burn a ball into the receivers hands with no problem at all. Lance is the best player in the ASFL and proves it day in and day out.

Worst Pick of the Draft? Why? I am going to have to with Greg Kowalczyk. Instead of drafting him, I should have drafted a running back. Now if something happens to Mack or George I am literally screwed. If I were playing with this team I would probably drop Greg and pick up a running back right away. I was lazy during that round and just chose somebody to keep it moving. Never do that. Greg was a horrible selection and was a huge waste of my 13th round draft pick.

Aaron Focker 2
Jamal Pitts – RB
Round 1 (4)

Why?: Maybe I chose Jamal Pitts a little early. Yet, anyone who wins the MVP award the season before is always a safe pick. He has moved teams but I think the same impact will occur. 1,294 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns, Jamal is a beast. He can be my starting running back any day. Even a fraction of those numbers and he will still be great. Not the MVP, but still great.

Alex Hayward – WR
Round 2 (13)

Why?: Alex Hayward is in the middle of most of the top 10’s in the wide receiver categories last year. He is a solid number 1 wide receiver for my QB which will be named later. Hayward has great hands and will show it. I did not want to wait until round 3 to pick up a wide receiver because if I did that I would have a pitiful wide receiver core to a decent quarterback that would have been drafted here in round 2.

Chris Crash – WR
Round 3 (20)

Why?: I was looking for a QB in the 4th round, so I decided that I would pick up another WR threat for my Q. The funny thing is, Crash is better then Alex Hayward. These picks should have been switched around but that’s how it worked out. Crash had over 1100 yards receiving and would be a number 1 receiver on any team. Too bad he was behind Billy Kirch. I am very lucky Crash was still here because I needed another speedster.

Mike Kroner – QB
Round 4 (29)

Why?: Wow. Kroner was still in the draft in the 4th round. 7 quarterbacks were gone and the first overall draft pick was still sitting there. Kroner was the perfect guy to throw to Crash and Hayward so I picked him up. He is a rookie and maybe I am jumping the gun, but Mike is going to be good. He is a great guy to have on your fantasy team and a great player to have calling the shots.

LeBron James – RB
Round 5 (36)

Why?: You get to start 2 running backs and James was perfect for this. He didn’t get a lot of carries last year, and only had a 4.1 yards per carry stat but I think if James gets the majority of the teams carries, his stats will start adding up. I had a feeling about James, so I took a chance and drafted him in round 5.

Tyler Bass – WR
Round 6 (45)

Why?: Bass led the Cougars in touchdowns receptions last year, yet was second to Anderson in yards. Bass just needs to get the ball more and better things will happen. Bass’ receiving yards is blinding. Tyler is a lot better then that stats shows. If fantasy had a depth chart, Tyler would be 3rd third overall but he will make a move during the season. That’s always why I drafted him, because of a feeling.

New Jersey – DEF
Round 7 (52)

Why?: 3 Defenses had already been chosen and I needed to at least get one. New Jersey had a good defense last year and improved on it this year. I am hoping for another double win season for them and a lot of single digit opponents scores. With their defense, they can do it. I just hope they will.

Lincoln Georgia – TE
Round 8 (61)

Why?: Georgia was 2nd in receptions and 3rd in receiving yards last year for tight ends. Behind none other then Goshburns. Both of those stats that Goshburns led were league records. So, its not like Georgia is horrible. If not for Goshburns, Georgia would be the best tight end. He has great hands and is a awesome blocking tight end. 818 yards for a tight end is half bad. Some of the receivers cant even get to that.

Pennsylvania – DEF
Round 9 (68)

Why?: I decided that I would go ahead and fill up my defense while I was at it. It turns out that 4 defenses were selected in the 9th round so my choice was pretty good. Pennsylvania was near the end of the league in yards allowed but I am hoping for a turnaround. There has been some changes on the defensive side of the ball so I am hoping some more chemistry happens and Pennsylvania doesn’t have me regret me picking them.

Cecil Jaworski – K
Round 10 (77)

Why?: Everyone needs a kicker and waiting until the 10th round to get one is smart. I was pretty much last in choosing my kicker but I still think it was a good idea. Cecil is a good kicker and can only get better. I don’t have the best kicker, but if he can kick and make it through those uprights, its all good.

Mike Difiore – WR
Round 11 (84)

Why?: Difiore was a back up pick. I guarantee now that I could have picked a better back up. Difiore will not get a lot of playing time in the ASFL, therefore I will not benefit from him. I would drop him right away when the season starts and make sure that I have a backup for pretty much every position.

Torry Owens – WR
Round 12 (93)

Why?: This is what you would call a steal. Torry Owens is second on the Canes depth chart and will get significant playing time. Drafting somebody like this number 93 is amazing. Torry played behind Bob Jinks last year in Oklahoma and caught for 800 some yards. Torry is going to do awesome in North Carolina and will rack up the points for me. I was very surprised that he was still here and I was going to make sure he wasn’t going to be available anymore.

Cliff Bourne – RB
Round 13 (100)

Why?: Main reason for drafting Bourne is because he will be the starter. He inched out Raven for the number 1 spot so therefore he is going to get playing time. If for some reason, Bourne gets hot I will have him and wont have to worry about someone else taking him and using him against me.

Guru Johnson – TE
Round 14 (109)

Why?: Might use Guru to trade for something later if I need it. I have Georgia and he is more then enough for a TE. I could find someone that got screwed with a TE and give him Guru and maybe get a better defense out of it. You must always draft to trade as well as draft to win. That’s what I did here.

Chris Leak – QB
Round 15 (116)

Why?: If something happens to Kroner, I have Leak on the back burner. Leak is the starter for the Bulls and will do pretty good there. Not as good as Kroner and that is why he is not my starter. I think I have 2 good quarterbacks to maybe trade away or fiddle around with. Leak was my final pick and I think I did pretty good with it.

Best Pick of the Draft? Why? Torry Owens was my best pick. Getting him so late was astonishing to me. Even though I drafted him in the 12th round, he still might be one of my top 3. I don’t know why he wasn’t drafted, but I am really glad he wasn’t. Now I really have 4 really good wide receivers that I can choose from week to week.

Worst Pick of the Draft? Why? Mike Difiore was my worst pick of the Mock Draft. He will do nothing for me and I even drafted him before Torry Owens. I should get hurt for drafting Mike at all, let alone in the 11th round. Mike is one of those guys that you want to keep on free agency until someone above him gets hurt and then you grab him. Don’t draft him where I did and you will be fine.

Mike Jones

1) Jim Gortoniz - Texas's QB, looks can be deceiving and Gortoniz is the reason why. He's better than you think and shall do some good being in Texas.

2) Bob Jinks - One of the best WRs in the league. He's fast, strong, and has great awareness for where teh ball is. But since he has to line up wit another great WR like Public, id have to say that Jinks is another weak pick of mine. I dont think Jinks and Public can become teh best WR duo because they are both #1 WR material and are used to being #1 WR.

3) Max Powers - A top notch RB, great power, is fast, and knows where to run. Althou he has to line up behind a weak line, he makes up for that in his power and speed. One of my best picks

4) Joe Public - well since i got Bob Jinks, i might as well get the other graet WR from LA. If one does bad the other will bloom so getting Public was a must for me since both are #1 WR material and one will be the favorite for the new draftee QB Terrell Morrison

5) Ty Steele - I picked Steele because he has a lot better line than last year and will get more open holes to run through and make big plays.

6) Miami Defense - I picked them because of two major players, Pat Reilly and Ronnie Payne. Two great defensive players and thats all I need to say.

7) Jamal Goshburns - A top TE that will keep up his graet play.

8) Alex Reyes - A good kicker that almost went 100%. Got a lot of PATs and made a lot of FGs at the same time.

9) Brad Vanube - a good WR. Should be getting the ball just as much as his WR partner Brian Buchan. They also have the #1 overall pick and he should contribute right away.

10) Colorado Defense - Their defense looked promising to me.

11) Michael Young - A strong QB, could be better wit a little more of work on his offense like o-line and WRs. otherwise you can count on him to win you a game

12) Sam Washinton - an underrated RB, he gets the job done and is very strong. Just a shame he has to share the ball or he'd be putting up great stats

13) Samir Sampat - a good WR that you can depend on. Good hands and fast too.

14) Matt Baez - Well if all the other QBs fail, you should be able to count on Baez. He had a rought start last season but it was his rookie season. He should bloom now that he is aquainted to the team and is possibly starting

15) Marcus Smith - a RB wit everything to prove. a RB that could be great wit an o-line.
