DWI for Minnesota’s Robinson

Koren Robinson just doesn’t get it.  Arrested on 8/15 once again, for driving while intoxicated.  He pleaded guilty for a DUI charge in 2005, and the Seahawks promptly cut him a few days later.  Now the Vikings gave him a second chance last season and reward him with a nice 3 year contract after last season’s Pro Bowl performance.  Now, all of you can probably drop him from your rankings, as this latest charge may come with a 1 year NFL suspension. Marcus Robinson, Travis Taylor and Troy Williamson will all battle for the #1 position, if Koren does get suspended.

Suggs failed physical

Suggs was traded to the NY Jets on 8/14, who are in desperate need for a RB, with Curtis Martin’s status unknown, because of a recent knee injury.  Suggs failed his physical on 8/15 with the Jets and was returned to the Browns, the trade now void.  If you inserted Suggs in your rankings, go ahead and take him back off.  My opinion is the Jets will attempt to make a trade to acquire another RB (maybe Titans’ Chris Brown?).  If such an event occurs, please note that the Jets offense is still questionable, don’t move the starting RB too high up in your rankings.  If they do not make a trade, look for Derrick Blaylock and Cedric Houston to share the load, until Martin returns (if he can).
