  Price #2?

Peerless Price appears to be the leading candidate to land the #2 WR position in Buffalo.  With Lee Evans holding down the #1 spot, Price is the veteran among his other 2 competitors, Andre Davis and Josh Reed.  Come draft day, if you are actually considering who the #2 in Buffalo is, then you have a problem.  Until this offense proves anything to me, the only 2 Buffalo players worthy of being  drafted are RB McGahee and WR Evans, and I don’t have either ranked high in their respective categories.  I am even steering clear of the QB situation.

More Red Zone work for McGahee

Last season, RB McGahee was taken out of the offense when they reached the red zone.  This season that philosophy has changed and that is good news to owners who decide to select McGahee this year.  With this news, McGahee should easily eclipse his TD total from 2005 (5), but not to burst anyone’s bubble, I still am very cautious of this offense as you should be too.  Just dont draft McGahee too high based on this news.

Kitna vs. McCown

A report out of Detroit appears to say that, Kitna has been impressive so far in camp and is the leading candidate to start.  So, if your looking for a solid #2 QB come draft day, Kitna will be a good choice with the high powered Mike Martz offense.

Detroit WR’s

More on the report out of Detroit, it appears that WR Corey Bradford will be starting alongside Roy Williams at the #2 position.  This is surprising since the other 2 first round pick WR’s Charles Rogers and Mike Williams are mentioned to be competing with Scott Vines for the 3rd spot.  I guess they have been unimpressive so far, so drop them down in your rankings.  I don’t know how long Bradford will hold onto #2, maybe it is a “wake up” call to the others, but keep a close eye and ear to this situation.  In this offense, drafting a starting WR, could be rewarding.

Chris Brown: Should I Stay or Should I Go?

Is that how that old 80’s the Clash song goes?  Well, last week, Titan RB Chris Brown wants to be traded, saying that this offense is not his style of running.  Now this week, Chris Brown states that he wants to remain in Nashville.  So what does all this mean?  Well Coach Fisher had no intention of trading him, and he is still listed as the #1 RB on this team.  But with Brown’s history of injuries, you have to be cautious on draft day.  Draft him as a #3 if you can.

RB White wants to be #1

Lendall White, the rookie RB of the Titans, signed and came into camp in terrific shape.  It appears he may have a chip on his shoulder from being snubbed by every team in the first round of the NFL Draft.  He wants to be the starting RB, and he could very well accomplish that feat.  He has 2 guys in front of him: Chris Brown (prone to injuries) and Travis Henry (could be the odd man out if White plays extremely well).  You guys in keeper leagues, lock your radar onto this guy.
