Bell listed as Bronco starter

That would be Mike Bell, not Tatum Bell as the starting RB.  Mike Bell, according to Coach Shanahan has been extremely impressive for an undrafted rookie, which is the reason Mike Bell is given this opportunity.  But, let’s not get too excited over this announcement, remember it’s only early August with the season opener still one month away.  Shanahan also said the following “It is very close, and it could change day by day, week by week, but we felt like Mike deserves a chance to work with the first team and take a look to see if he can keep it.”  In other words….don’t write down Mike Bell’s name in permanent ink quite yet.
