Dear friends and visitors,

Welcome to my website. I have for long thought it rather vain that one should have one’s own website and have finally succumbed to the idea – not entirely convinced about its usefulness.

To those who have argued that my ideas require wider dissemination and that a homepage is an important device for this - especially to the one responsible for actually believing in the idea enough to go ahead and set it up - many thanks. Let’s see if I later have reason to view this as a poisoned chalice!

The site contains a list of my books, a selection of articles and presentations, some reviews of my books, some interviews and a few links to other organizations or networks that I belong to. The articles are in subject order and some of them appeared in newspapers or magazines while others were published in accredited journals. Please note that they are in unedited form here and that you may have to consult the published version if you intend citing from there

Do feel free to communicate with me and I will try to respond; Do remember when you write to me that Allah instructed Moses to speak gently to Pharaoh and that a) however noble you or intentions may be, you are not better than Moses and b) whatever you make of me and my views, I am not worse than Pharaoh!
