Cimarron Tick Hollow Trooper

Ethan and Trooper renewing their friendship in April 2005

Red has become a favorite playmate of Ethan. (Erin's two year old) Everywhere Ethan goes he says, "'Mon Red!".

Red is very biddable and has a terrific sense of smell. He is calm and confident, and has a wonderful temperament that reminds me of his father. I would love to see someone make a search and rescue dog out of him, he certainly has the talent!

Red's parents have some of the best hip ratings in the breed.

This tough pup is very broad and heavier than he looks. I think he will be a big dog like Rusty too (seventy pounds or so). His color will look like this as an adult. He plays with the other pups in the methods of an authoratative herding dog - lots of heeling and body blocks. He is very sweet-natured.

Do I LOOK like a laid back Border Collie?

Red is now known as Trooper and has retired to the Northwoods in WI.

April 3 2005

He's good with kids, cats, strangers. He likes to play ball. He's 57.5 lbs. His coat is nice--not as dense as Shooter and Teflon.
