Far West tells the story of Ra'Meghan Val'Norium (Meg to you, fella.) and her erstwhile ursine partner Phil. The pair are bounty hunters who find themselves with the monumental task of bringing in the dastardly train robber Darian Voss and his pet DRAGON!

No, the wild west wasn't this wild even for Artemis Gordon and James West. First off there aren't any humans around. Meg and all the other people are elves. But don't go thinking this is another elf book with big eyes and soul searching songs under the trees. Not a chance. No this is one of those elf books with Winchesters, flaming trains, bathtub demons, rival bounty hunters, mine cart chases, intoxicated orgres, killer toys and PlayElf magazine.

Meg and Phil have just arrived in town to collect the bounty on a slippery shape shifter they've captured and get a little R&R before setting off on the next job. A drink, a bath and some sleep aren't too much to ask for, but sometimes you'd be surprised what might come along. Seems Voss robbed a train coming to the little prarie town then had his dragon set it afire before leaving with the loot. After the passengers are removed from the charred train a team of professional private investigators arrives to search for Voss and claim the bounty on him. They set off looking for Voss' trail, but Meg has other ideas and she and Phil take a different direction. Meg figures she can locate Voss by finding his dragon which means they have to go talk to the local ogre clan to find out where he got it. From there the action and comedy escalate ultimately leading to a high speed mine cart chase, and a showdown with Voss's real life fire-breathing dragon. All the while someone in the shadows is trying to kill Meg; but who is it, and why?
