About "The Glove Fetishist Outpost"

    Allow me to extend a personal gloved welcome to all who choose to venture into the greatest glove haven online to date.
    Here, you are encouraged to slide on your most favorite pair of soft, sensual gloves & sit back and enjoy whatever you may choose within this evergrowing and diverse home of the finest fetish that I know of !

(Of course, I am a bit biased... *grin*)

    Everyone has a variation on their own personal definition of fetish. After having learned to despise the negative connotations of the public definition, I went searching for words to show what it is to me & I liked what I found so much, I thought it would be a good idea to share it here.
Fetish
(1) an object believed to have magical power to protect
or aid its owner;
(2)a material object regarded with extravagant trust or reverence.
(3) a quality or combination of qualities that is wholly
attractive and irresistible magnetism

Synonyms- allure, appeal, charisma, fascination, glamour, magnetism
Doesn't this make sense?

    The basic human nature is such that in order to live a fullfilling life, we need to have an element of uniqueness about us.
We need to have at least one thing that is something that exists purely for deriving pleasure or comfort from,without any other influence.
People are also eager to find someone to talk to and to share with. This site was created to have a place where men and women who are glove fetishists or, at least, show some interest in this fashion accessory can come to be themselves. Often it is done anonymously & that is just fine.
    Why gloves? I would say, why not? Is it any different from the individuals drawn to uniforms, underwear, silk stockings, breast or legs? How about those people drawn inexplicably to Redheads, Blondes, Brunettes?
    Take a look at your hand. It is like a fingerprint...each one unique. You can tell a lot about a person by looking at their hands if you try. Now, knowing this, think of the innate mystery presented to you in the gloved hand...
What do you see? What can't you see?
    Think of how diverse yet sensual a hand can be...all at once it will show you power, compassion, grief, humor, mystery, lust...the choices are endless!
Add to the hand a glove & what you do is magnify what was already there. One of my favorite examples for this is as follows...
    Think of a woman you know who although not a striking beauty & usually somewhat timid, occasionally is caught with a certain glimmer in her eyes.
Do you think you would look at her the same way if she were wearing, say, a pair of long tight chocolate brown kidskin gloves? Do you think she would act the same way? Not on your life! Even people I have encountered who say they have no attraction to gloves will admit there is something that draws them to look either at the gloves or into themselves.
    Not convinced? Think of the materials most common to gloves.
Leather
My personal favorite. Creates a sound unmistakeable & a scent like none other.
It can appear as the softest caress of the glove or the sharp sting of the whip...but it is still all leather!
Satin
Ah, this seen in the best or worst lights is still the same.
It's very nature captures the light & energy around it, forcing you to look. Dare I mention the feel? Slide on a pair of satin gloves & tell me you are not continuously embraced & caressed at the slightest movement.
Velvet
Now we are getting into the serious sensory enhancements. Try it. I have yet to see someone not melt at the touch of velvet.
Latex
A bit of the other end of the spectrum here.
Deliciously tight & it steals away your tactile senses. You have to trust yourself as what you think you feel is not what is there. Your hand will try to tell you one thing but your eyes will show you another.
    We all have our favorites & those examples mentioned here are far from the be all & end all but only the most common. To the glove fetishist, when you combine the hand and glove, you obtain an amazingly powerful reaction. But, it isn't always about sex. The hand is the vehicle for which the glove will more readily take on an energy all of its own in the mind of the fetishist.
    If you still doubt it all, it's okay as this is obviously not for everyone. In some way, the glove intrigue is a unique experience that only a glove lover can fully understand. That is why we gather here to share and to tell ourself that, after all, we are not alone & we have every right to enjoy this passion.
