I think that it all started when I was an infant,
because there are several pictures of my mother holding me while she was
wearing rubber gloves, for some reason or another. I have always been fascinated
by the gloved hand--the fit of the glove, the form, and the tightness of
the leather--I think that there is nothing more beautiful than the well-gloved
hand. I think that everyone should wear gloves all the time. Women are
ladies and men are gentlemen when they are wearing gloves; there is nothing
that says more about your personality than the number and the quality of
the gloves you own. I try to wear my gloves as much as I can, I have a
drawer full and they are all for different purposes: I have gloves that
are to sleep in (rubber, usually), gloves that are to be worn around the
house or out on errands, gloves to make love in, and gloves that I like
to wear out formally. Luckily, I'm able to wear my gloves about 90% of
the time.
