I am a poet
of sorts in love with the black leather glove. My
partner laughs and calls me a fool but she was taught , as a girl, to
wear gloves, hats and to carry a handbag. I reply that it is the elegance of
gloves which seduces me.
I have always been attracted to elegant women and the games which can be
played. The glove seems to me to be the epitome of elegance and the perfect
object of desire.
I am old enough to be sensible and enjoy walking the streets of London and
other European cities never knowing what the next turn might bring. A
beautiful pair of gloves can turn an ordinary day into a marvelous day.
