"Why not? Why can't I? You think that those women are princesses from heaven? Yo taunted cruelly.

Chet continued harshly as his eyes rake over her appearance. "Those women that you mentioned have much more class then you would ever have. You, you are nothing but dirt."

Yo looked at Chet palefully. Nobody had ever treated her this way. "If you think that I am a horrible person, at least I am not as horrible as you!" Yo flung back. He might not respect her, but he had no right to treat her this way.

"Do you know who you are talking to right now? If I should want to kill you what can you do? Your mother and you are of the same root."

Having to listen to Chet's crude remarks about her family, Yo made an attempt to get out of his bed, but too late, Chet flung his body over her trapping her with his hold. "Let me go... I am going to scream if you don't let me go..."

"My dear Yo, if you scream I can always find other method to shut your mouth can't I," he added cynically.

BORDER OF LOVE...

Betrayal, love, passion, deception, and loneliness were some of the significant themes of the movie, Border of Love. A love that crosses all boundary whether near or far, will be the common thrusts that leads to pure vengeance and lust. As one will see, Chet and Yo together, one will know that the two lovers will share something than just love, that each had been searching for love and honesty since childhood.

Yotakah Arunchan agreed to meet with her mother in Central Park, New York City, as they both had not seen each other for over three years. Her mother happily greeted her, Yo did not feel the enthusiasm, ask her mother why she should bother to visit after neglecting her all her life. Kanika apologized and was happy that her daughter had grown into a lovely lady. Back at Yo's apartment, Kanika produced a ticket for a trip to Canada. She had urged her daughter to go and once they are there, promised Yo that she will tell her the news. Yo reluctantly agreed and nodded her head.

The scene of the quiet calm lake brought a touch of smile to Yo's face. She happily turned to her mother and informed her that she love the lake here in Canada and think it will be a great idea to build a house here. Kanika looked at her daughter pensively, and finally told her that she will be marrying a man named Peter, who happens to be rich and wealthy. Yo look at her mother bitterly, and knew that her mother's past relationships are still lingering. In anger, Yo accused her mother of deceiving her repeatedly. Kanika tries to explain desperately that the reason she chooses to marry Peter was for their security. Kanika will not allow them to live in poverty again. Yo simply look at her mother and realized that as much as she tries to prevent her mother from marrying again, her mother will not comply.

Meanwhile, Chetnarong Vorisarah was waiting for his girlfriend to finished her night club singing. Chet's relationship with Nhumnet resulted in an unplanned pregnancy. Chet was overjoyed of his girlfriend's pregnancy that he was extremely happy and wish to marry her. He had even confined in his good friend, Somnet the good news. In return Somnet told Chet that he will need to returned to Chaingmai to assist his aunt's with farming.

Chet smile and teased his friend, mentioning sardonically that his father will be probably have a heart attack, if Somnet decided to leave the old man. His lack of concern for his father shows that Chet's relationship with his father was a shaky one. Mr. Takhune had always been upset that his son grows up to be worthless and uncaring. Later on in the days, Chet decided to tell his father that he will be marrying Nhumnet because she is pregnant with his child. Mr. Takhune was extremely upset and told him that he will not accept a girl like Nhumnet to be his daughter-in-law. He personally feel that the young lady's fidelity was fake and that she only wanted Chet for sex and money.

Jeff, was hired by Mr. Takhune to spy on Nhumnet. After being confirmed that his son's girlfriend was not that faithful, Mr. Takhune finally showed the pictures to Chet. At first, Chet was shock, for the woman he love and wishes to marry was cheating on him with a Canadian man. Immediately Chet stormed out of the house, with Somnet following him. Once he confronted with Nhumnet, he was furious that his beloved girlfriend had the nerve to cheat on him, and had abort the baby, and told him that she had a miscarriage. Nhumnet realized what she had done, beg for forgiveness, but Chet was not willing to forgive her, stormed out of the apartment.

Depression and anger had made Chet agreed to go to Chaingmai with his friend to do some labor work. Chet told his friend that he is not in any mood to meet another slut like his former girlfriend. For many months, Chet thrown himself to his work. He became uncompassionate and ruthless. Somnet concern about Chet, told his friend to start shaving his moustache and to behave like a new human being. When he first met Somnet's sister, it was Chet's ruthless and sexual appeal that made Gingkhan fall in love. On one hot day, Gingkhan met Chet while helping herself with some flowers. Chet walked over the garden path and begin to point a pistol at Gingkhan, and told her to get lost. Petrified, Gingkhan left the place, leaving Chet to snear sarcastically and remarked that all women are the same.

A few months had passed, Kanika informed her daughter the second time that she finally divorced Peter and had wanted to meet with Yo. Her new divorce left Kanika's a lump sum of money and a house. Trying to take in what her mother had said, Yo simply informed her mother that she will visit again once her finals are over. Happy, Kanika promised her daughter that she will never remarry again. She is happy to have her daughter with her. This time, she vowed to Yo, she will take up the parental role she denies Yo all her life.

After her divorce, Kanika was happy for awhile. While looking at the lake reflectively, she met with Mr. Takhune while he was jogging. At first he was curious about the mysterious woman, had made an arragement to jog the same path, just to get a glimpse of her. While attempting to get Kanika's attention, Mr. Takhune experienced an acute heart attack. Kanika help carried Mr. Takhune to her place and ask him whether he needed to see a doctor. Yo suddenly appeared and was standing by the door, looking at her mother with another man. Yo had not realized of Mr. Takhune's heart attack, knocked on the door. Kanika was shock for awhile and then excuse herself to talk to Yo. Yo had already become upset, shouted at her mother that she had not kept her promised and allow another man into her life. Yo left her mother's place. Alone by herself, Yo decided that it would not do her any good to stay and her mother remarried again. Instead she called her mother the next day and told her that she will be going to Chiangmai to visit.

In Chaingmai, Yo had been bartering with a vendor at the swap meet. She was complaining that the woman had tried to sell her an inexpensive item for a high price. Chet happened to be in town, noticed the argument and shook his head in disgust. He had been noticing Yo's petite body, and think that she had no manners. Yo turned around and saw Chet, had given him her smile. Chet ignore her and went his way. The next day, Chet met the small girl again at the public hotel. As he walked by, he noticed that Yo was having a rought time tryint to fend her American admirer. Chet shook his head in contempt and went to the bathroom. Chet was about to leave the restroom ran into Yo. Chet ask her what she is doing in the men's bathroom. Yo explain what happen and begged him to save her this time. Chet grudgingly agreed adn they both hid themselves in the stall. The American guy suspect that she is hiding in the bathroom followed her. Once he did not see her, he left and Yo turned to Chet and cheerfully thanked him.

Back at the farm, Somnet urged Chet to meet his aunt to introduce himself. Chet agreed and was taken to his aunt's living room. As Chet turned around, he then noticed Ginkhan as she was introduced to him as Somnet's little sister. Embarrassed at what he had done at their first encounter, Chet apologized. They both smile, and Gingkhan's attraction to Chet had heighten considerably. At Chet's bungalow, Somnet told Chet that his sister is a nice girl and if Chet is not serious about her, he should leave Gingkhan alone. Then Somnet gave the letter to Chet saying that it is from his dad. After reading the letter, Chet angrily tosssed the letter aside and informed his friend that his father is remarrying soon.

Somnet, who is the reasonable and understanding one, told Chet that he should accept his new mother. That maybe his father really loved this woman and Chet should be supportive. Chet disagree with his friend went to Bangkok. At the airport, Chet met the annoying girl again, and cursed himself for running into her. Yo at first did not noticed him but later as she grabbed the chair the opposite of Chet, went over and started a conversation. Feeling that she trusted him, Yo invited herself to seat next to him. But Chet did not feel friendly, did not talk much. Yo sense that Chet was not being friendly, excuse herself cheerfully. Somnet came back from the restroom and noticed the new girl saying goodbye to Chet. Somnet made a comment that he would not mind dating a young, fresh and beautiful girl as Yo. Chet grimaced and told Somnet that he can have her, that he will never be attracted to such a small and round girl as this one.

Yo came back and then ask Chet and Somnet if she can get a lift in the same taxi since she doesn't know her way around Bangkok. Chet wanted to disagree, but Somnet beat him and was more than happy to allow Yo to come along. Once the taxi dropped Yo off at her friend's apartment, Yo turned to look at Chet then to Somnet saying that Chet should learn to relax and loosen up.

Once at her friend's apartment, Yo reflect on the past about a recent conversation she had with her mother. Yo feel bitter at her mother because not only she had reasoned with her mother about her marriage, but told her that money would not make them happy. Her mother instead told her that this man will bring them together.

Chet finally met with this stepmother and his opinion of the woman did not alter. He made some crude comments to Kanika that his father is a rich man and that any woman would fall at his feet just to be his mistress. He then tackled her that she will never told him of the reason why she chooses his father to marry. Later that evening, Kanika made a conversation to her husband, informing him that her daughter is in Bangkok and her name is Yotakah. Chet listen to the conversation and remembered that the annoying girl was probably the same one since Yo had introduced herself to him.

The next morning, Chet offered himself to dropped Kanika off at her daughter's apartment. Skeptical and unsured of what to do, Kanika did not say anything and allow Chet to drop her off at her daughter's friend's apartment. Kanika came with the money to give some to Yo and told her daughter to behave herself. Meanwhile waiting for Kanika, Chet noticed that it was the same apartment the taxi dropped her off, devised a plan to destroy the mother and daughter. Chet came over the next day and introduced himself and told her that he is happy to take her out and eat, and wanted to get to know her more. Yo smiled and nodded her head. Chet had promised that they will dine, ask her to dance with him. She put her head on his shoulder and made some conversations. They then look at each other and Chet pushed Yo away as he was about to kissed her. Realizing that he is attracted to Yo, he chastised himself. Chet drove Yo to a motel and informed her that since she is a slut, he would be more than willing to spend a night with her. Yo panic and told him to take her back to the apartment. Chet ignore her, and tried to force himself on her. Yo managed to escape outside the car, but Chet managed to catch up with her, begin to assault her. Angry at what he had done, Yo slapped him and Chet in anger kissed her. Cruelly he told her that she was behaving like a whore and that she was acting like a frightened virgin. Yo was afraid left the place in tears.

Chet's relentless pursuit to find out his stepmother's disclosed past had allowed him to devised the next scheming plan. To find out more about her past, Chet offered to take Kanika to the mall. As they were both walking down the escalator, Kanika met a mysterious woman. The lady was happy to see Kanika and ask her what she was doing. Kanika was evasive in her response, became pale. Chet noticed Kanika's reluctant to talk about herself in front of Chet, noticed immediately that Kanika was not as innocent as she look.

A few days after settle into the new place with her husband, Kanika decided to agreed with her husband to send Yo over for a visit. Kanika feared that Yo, who always tried to upset Kanika, will embarrassed her. When Yo finally arrived, Yo had already made her presence known to Mr. Takhune's household. Her black provocative dress managed to shock the housekeepers. Mr. Takhune was happy to see Yo overlook Yo's childish behavior told his wife that he does not mind Yo's conduct and that she reminded him of Chet. Mr. Takhune consoled his wife that Yo is smart and a cheerful girl, and would never do anything to disgrace him. Chet walked in arrogantly to the living room and Yo became stunned. She cannot take her eyes off of him and as if though in a dream, she only heard that Chet is her new brother. Deeply upset, Yo acted normal, pretending that they had never meet before.

After Yo left, Chet immediately pounced on Kanika and threatened her that Yo is not welcome in his house and that he cannot guarantee that he will not try to seduce Yo. Kanika who was already feel intimidated by her stepson reassure him stiffly that she will not allow Yo to move in, that she will tell his father that Yo is happy where she lives. A few days later, Chet met with one of the prostitute and told her that he would like to know about his stepmother's past. The prostitute agreed after acceping Chet's money.

Due to Mr. Takhune's third heart attack, Kanika decided that they all should visit Canada. Before they leave, Chet had promised Gingkhan of his returned. Finally in Canada, Yo waited to tell her mother that she and Somnet went to visit the lady who had taken care of her in the past. Her mother simply said not to go and visit that part of town anymore. Yo in anger told her mother that she cannot forget her root, that the past is part of her. Even though the grandma who had beaten and chastised her when she was a child, the old women had always been there for her.

News of Kanika's impending pregnacy only added fuel to Chet's anger. He had prayed that once he found out the secret, he will informed his dad of Kanika's past. Feeling furious and angry with Yo and mother, Chet went back to Nhumnet to have a few flings with her. One late evening, Mr. Takhune took his wife and Yo out to eat and noticed Chet and Nhumnet together. He was upset and told his wife what had happen between Chet and his ex-girlfriend. Nhumnet who thought that Chet wanted to get back with her, begin to be possesive. Chet finally had enough of her told her that whatever they had with each other was pure lust and nothing else. He used her this time as he had used her in the past.

Chet did not give up his revenge on Yo's family, had made Yo angry and she taunted him one afternoon that if her mother should ever become pregnant, then all the wealth will go to them. Chet snorted angrily and called her and her mother a gold digger. Back in Bangkok, Yo's friend had finally married and Jane told her that she will be moving out of the apartment. Yo wish her friend and her husband happiness informed them that she will have to move into Vorisarah's family before looking for other places. Chet know that Yo will be moving in lied to Kanika that he and her daughter had some sexual flings. Kanika was shock but powerless to do anything since her daughter's erratic and "promiscuous" behavior did not help to confirmed Kanika that Yo is still a virgin. Yo finally moved in and told her mother that she will not spend Vorisarah's money. To annoys her mother, Yo decided to do some modeling so that she can have some spending money. Her mother disagree vehemently but Yo told her that since she has some look, model agency will be more than gladly had her on. Then she further taunted her mother that she will have to "sell" her beauty just like her mother had done in the past.

This time, Chet decided to go to Chiangmai again. He had wanted to patch his relationship with Gingkhan and was thinking whether he made the right choice by choosing her. But Yo had often occupied his mind and was upset because it is not Gingkhan but Yo who he was sexually attracted to.

Back at his father's home, he saw that Yo had some photographers over in the backyard. Furious, Chet told the photographers to leave the premises before he cannot help but destroy their equipment. Yo feel that Chet had gone too far, told them to stay. Chet was beyond caring destroy their equipment and kick all of them out. Yo took a deep breath and went to his room. Chet was in his robe and saw her. He made some sexual remarks that she had the nerve to walk into his room when he is almost naked. Yo looked away and told him to get dress so they can talk. He laugh then taunted her that she probably wanted to see him stark naked. Before he finished taunting, Yo slapped him and in anger he had force himself on her. He made a grab at her modeling dress, and tore the garmet to pieces from her body. Chet then laugh harshly as he saw her trembling and shocking body. Yo ran outside tearfully. Kanika happened to be in the hallway saw what happened and became startled. This is the first time she had seen what happen and Kanika suspect the worst that Yo and Chet had sexual relationships.

Feeling disgusted that he wanted Yo, Chet finally talked to his father of his engagement to Gingkhan. Chet now acknowledges that he wanted Yo and was angry because he also wanted revenge on her mother. His investigation further lead him to meet with a man from Kanika's past. Chet took the opportunity to invite Mr. Bahlat to his dad's party this Saturday. He smile to himself because he knows that he will have his reveng soon. The next morning, Chet decided to mock Yo again about her modeling pictures. He was flipping through the magazines in disgusts and told her that a nice girl would never dream of dressing or posing this way. Yo beyong caring what he think of her simply told him that even though she is not a perfect girl like his fiancee, she is not a whore. They exchange some heated conversations and afterward Yo slapped him. In anger, Chet finally carry her off to his room and begin to have sex with her. He then murmured that why should she deny her attraction for him when that is what she feels all along. Submisively, Yo give up and allow him to seduced her.

The next morning, Yo felt degraded and went into her room to cry. She had had just given her virginity away to a man who not only scorned her, but about to be engage to another woman. Saturday came around and according to his planned, Mr. Bahlat and his wife came to the party. When he noticed Kanika's awkward reactions, he suspected that they both had a thing in the past. During the party, Chet went to the dining room and seen Yo again. He told her that they both suited each other sexually, and that if he is a horrible person, than she is the same. Chet made a grab to kissed her, but Yo evade him and ran outside.

Mr. Takhune's guests finally left and Chet now had the opportunity to confront Kanika and told her to stop pretending that she is innocent. His father heard of their argument came over. Chet angrily told his father that his wife was a prostitute in the past. That he should dismissed Kanika and divorced her. Mr. Takhune told Chet and Kanika that he knows that he knows of his wife's past before he married her. Kanika became hysterical and shouted at the two men. Having enough, she walked to her room to start packing but Chet did not let her go freely shouted that Kanika is a slut and his dad shouldn't stay with her. In despair, Kanika tried to leave but Mr. Takhune tried to grab hold of her, missed a step then fell down the stairs.

Somnet and Yo were visiting the old lady. Yo sit quietly and remembered what Chet did to her. Yo was upset because not only she was falling half way in love with him, he was treating her like a tramp. Somnet mistaking her tears for her grandma, comforted her and tell her that everything will be all right. Yo nodded her head and Somnet then went outside. He saw Mr. Takhune and Chet rushing Yo's mother to the emergency room. Finally find out what happen informed Yo. Yo was beyong forgiven this time and shouted at him for trying to kill her mother and in the process kill the baby inside. Feeling betrayed and angry, Yo left for Canada.

Chet knowing that he is extremely attracted to Yo went over to Canada and ask her to forgive him. She told him that she loathe him and does not want to have anything to do with him anymore. Chet hugged her and after a few persuasion, Yo finally accepted his apologies and nodded her head. Once in bed together, Chet brought out a question asking her why is she modeling for Mr. Payong. Yo told him that she does not want to live off of Mr. Takhune's money and wanted to be independent. A couple days later, Yo met Nhumnet accidently and Nhumnet know Yo and Chet were sleeping together, remarked to Yo that Chet was an evil person, had even told her to abort his own child. Yo was extremely upset by this ignore Chet all day. Too angry to do anything, Chet became miserable and drank himself to death. He then went to Nhumnet's apartment to confronted her and then too drunk to move, slept on the couch.

The next morning, Yo finally acknowledge that she was wrong and unreasonable went into Chet's room only to find out that he was not there. She then went to the park and met with Nhumnet again. Nhumnet knowing that she will get her revenge on them too, told Yo that they slept together. Feeling deceived, Yo went back to their apartment waiting to confront Chet. Yo received a phone call from her mother and Kanika told her to leave Chet since he is engaged to be married soon. After hanging up the phone, Kanika did not trust that Yo will leave Chet told her husband that they will need to go to Canada. Kanika then told Yo that between her and Chet she will need to choose.

Feeling that Chet only used her for her body, Yo left with her mother. Chet then went straight to Chiangmai and began to pursue his relationship with Gingkhan. Chet then call his father to come out to Chiangmai so he can engage Chet for him. When Yo heard that Mr. Takhune will be visiting Chiangmai, ask Mr. Takhune that she wanted to see the new fiancee. Upon arriving in Chiangmai, Mr. Takhune and Yo walked into the living room. Chet looked up and saw Yo. Gingkhan then suspect that there are chemistry between the two was upset. Yo noticed that Chet felt something for her, felt sorry for his fiancee had decided to go the the fabric store together. Yo then met with Mr. Payong and both agreed to have a dinner date together. Chet knows of this became jealous. He met with Yo at his bungalow and saw Yo kissing Mr. Payong kissing him on the cheek became very furious. After Yo had finished kissing him, Chet then began to called her a tramp that she is a cheap whore. Chet was deeply frustrated because the woman he was sexually attracted her kissed another man in front of him. Yo felt that he only wanted her for her body, let Chet believe the worst of her and he let her go.

The next day, Yo went with Mr. Payong again and after she came back, Chet finally aroused, forced himself on Yo. They had made love briefly that night and promised that he will break his engagement. But Chet did not and went with the engagement. Feeling that Chet lied to her, Yo made an announcement that she will be leaving with Mr. Payong. At the airport, Yo fainted and was taken into the hospital. The doctor informed her that if left untreated for too long she will catch pnenomia.

After he heard what happened to Yo, Chet no longer cares about his engagement went over to Bangkok and they both resume their sexual relationships again. This time their brief affair had made it into the news as Chet carried Yo off to his car to his dad's beach house. Gingkhan read the news the next day was upset and decided to break the engagement. Finally Kanika talked with her daughter on the phone and informed Yo to leave Chet. Yo knows that what she did was wrong left him. Gingkhan came over to tell Chet that she needed to break the engagement since he does not love her. Chet apologized to everyone of his crude behavior. Somnet extremely upset with Chet punched his friend in the face and walk out.

After the break up engagment, Chet finally knows what he needed to do. Chet beg Kanika to tell him where Yo is at. Kanika feel that Chet will never make her daughter happy did not tell him. Finally a phone call from Jane that Yo is pregnant with Chet made Kanika realized that she had no right to deprived their relationships with one another. Kanika then told Chet where Yo is at and Chet booked the next available flight to Canada. Yo was standing on the bridge overlooking the reflective lake sigh and turned around. There she met Chet and they both stare at each other. Chet told her desperately that he now acknowledges that he loves her and to give them a chance. Yo happily agreed and hug him. In each others arms, Yo and Chet finally found the love they had always longed and hoped for. A love that went beyond the border of love.
