on st. patrick's day, we went into dublin for the festivities. so did everyone else! it was so crowded even McDonald's had a bouncer.

we watched the parade. of course carrie had to be different. there she is standing on the fence outside a bank.

these were just two of the many floats. the top one i took because i liked their hats and the bottom one is st. patrick on a harley.

the afternoon was spent napping in the park, dancing in the park and i think there was even a little drinking in the park. there were so many people there that the pubs were overflowing into the streets. but even with all the drink, it was a mellow crowd!

in the evening we headed back to temple bar for music and pints. do you detect a theme? we went to the norseman and heard some awesome traditional music. i wish i could have bottled it for later. here's will, carrie and em at the end of the day...

somehow we managed to get up the next day to continue our whirlwind tour through ireland...in dingle.
