Professional Bodybuilding Career

 Frank Zane won Mr. Olympia, bodybuilding's highest title, 3 times: 1977, 1978, 1979.

 Defeated Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1968 Mr. Universe competition in Miami , Florida. He also won Mr. Universe 2 more times in London, England in 1970 and 1972.

 Won Mr. America 1968 in New York City and Mr. World 1969 in Brugge, Belgium.

 In his 22 year competitive career Frank won over 150 awards and was inducted into the Joe Weider Bodybuilding Hall of Fame in 1994.

 

Education

 Frank graduated first in his high school class of 1960 in Edwardsville, Pennsylvania, winning a college scholarship.

 Received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Wilkes University, Wilkes Barre, Pa. In 1964.

 Earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from California State University Los Angeles in 1977 and completed requirements for a California Life Teaching Credential.

 Awarded a Master of Arts Degree in Experimental Psychology from California State University San Bernardino, California in 1990.

 

Work Experience

 Taught mathematics, chemistry, physics, natural sciences, physical education, and psychology in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, and Los Angeles, California 1964 through 1977.

 Presented bodybuilding, fitness, nutrition, and motivation seminars around the world 1969 to present.

 Instructed weight training to over 3000 clients at Zane Haven Bodybuilding Learning Center in Palm Springs. Currently teaches the Zane Experience from his private gym and operates a fitness mail order business in La Mesa, California.

 Appeared on ESPN, ABC, CBS, NBC television as expert commentator for bodybuilding competitions since 1978. TV commercials and infomercials for Soloflex, Suzanne Sommers Torso Track, guest starred in Hart to Hart TV Series "Solid Gold Murder", hosted "Infinite Power Workout" 95 episodes airing in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York.

 Simon & Schuster book tours of 25 cities 1979 and 1981: radio, television, newspaper, and magazine publicity for first two books with his wife of 31 years, Christine.

4. If your location is more than 40 miles from San Diego, Frank's travel expenses are required: either 20 cents per driving mile, or round trip business class airline fare from San Diego plus hotel and food expenses if overnight stay is required.
