A little background...

I was born May 27th 1964, a fourth generation Parisian and a proud mother of two daughters. I work as an Executive Assistant, and my favourite interest and hobbies are Travel, Sport, Technology and FASHION. So why this website you say?

Fashionata, not a Model...

I decided to set up a site with the sole aim to understand, and learn, about what can be done with this fantastic technology. In order to reach a worldwide audience I wondered what subject could rapidly, and easily, bring some interest. I looked at my interests and thought being a FASHIONATA why not FASHION. But a FASHION website needs exclusive pictures and exclusive pictures are copyrighted. I did not want to plagarise other website contents, so what to do? 

For over 20 years I have constantly turned down frequent proposals of a modelling career. However with this project I decided as an amateur model to produce some of my own pictures on the net. The feedback to my first photo session was excellent and encouraged me to carry on. I do thank everyone for the support in those initial efforts, and to all my other pictures that appear on the site.

About the style... "Sexy Chic"

The "Urban Chic Lady" of the 21st Century is no longer the old-fashioned bourgeoise. The "thirty to fiftysomething" housewife is becoming much more young, mod, dangerously sexy and a little romantic in her fashion outlook. I wanted to illustrate that outlook which has moved from the catwalk to the high street over the past four years.

5" high-heel stilettoes and ultra mini-skirts are no longer the domain of a social group incarnated a few decades ago. All age groups have accepted this as an almost commonplace dress code. The purpose here is to illustrate that code, not to be critical or apologetic about what is now a social phenomenon.

"Sylvie Style" is sexy! Current fashion trends more and more promote a "high-class" leather wardrobe and high heels, and that coincidentally is the way I love to dress. My pictures do show me wearing the heels, the leather, the vinyl and PVC, but they will not show me wearing anything too revealing or shocking. There are plenty of sites on the net to cater for "Adult content", and to those wanting that type of viewing we suggest that you go off and surf the net! As a mother, and the social position that holds, I will also not post any fashion pictures of lingerie either.

I would like to sincerely thank the friends and supermodels that have provided me with quality pictures, many exclusive.
