Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Soon the buxom babes encounter a squeaky clean couple - Tommy and Linda - who are also out for a desert joyride. An taunting invitation to drag-race turns ugly. After a nasty fight,

Varla leaves Tommy for dead and kidnaps lame-brain Linda.

The three then catch word of a feeble old man out in the desert who is reportedly sitting on a large stash of cash, so they plot to beat it out of him and his two sons. Shakespearian mayhem

and violence insue.

though made for the sleezy raincoat crowd of the mid-60s, PUSSYCAT! has since transcended its humble origins to become a beloved cult classic.
Though reminiscent to director Russ Meyer's previous MOTORPSYCHO, PUSSYCAT! turns the con-

vention on its ear with what is possibly the toughest (and most glamorous) trio of femme fatales ever to hit the screen. As Varla, the iconic Satana creates a character who appears to literally fear nothing. While not Meyer's most financially successful film, it's most likely the one (along with 1970's BEYOND the VALLEY of the DOLLS) that he will be remembered for. B&W - 83 minutes - 1966
