Two Eagles, No Waiting...

I would like to put my roadie up for Roadstar of the Month. Let me tell you the story about Two-Eagle. I bought her last April 29, 1999. Less then two weeks after that I went in the hospital and had surgery on my knee. This placed me on crutches until the end of July. During this time I took the couch time and designed a theme and went with it. During the winter I worked overtime for money for the aftermarket parts. I did all the other work myself. The parts list reads as follows:

For those inquiring minds who wanted to know about the rear turn signal bracket on Two-Eagle (below...). I used the original license plate bracket from my roadie. I bent both ends at 90 degrees and then welded the turn signal bolts provided from J&P to the bracket insuring the holes were accessible. Then you have that bracket chromed. I used chrome paint for now until bike season is over then will chrome. The wires for turn signals were then put in stainless steel wrap and feed thru two holes in the thick rubber bracket from the stock roadie taillight. They then come out the back of the fender with the taillight wires. The turn signal part #13-585 from J&P motorcycles parts, this is for the amber lenses they have red also. They cost $15.99 each.

Beautiful custom work on your Roadstar, Bruce.  The paint work is some of the most impressive work that I've seen on a Roadie!  I have actually done a similar tail lamp conversion on my bike.

Really impressive work!
