“A man convince against his will is unconvinced still” It is like wasting time dealing with a Bible hater. However, I like to take them on, when they have the nerve to consult me. We can deal with any Bible contradictions you might think you have. We challenge you to sent them to us. Do not just post them on a sites that do not want readers to contest their claim. Post them on a web sites that take respond.

In this article I will explains any bible contradictions my readers might have, and if I left out some you could email them to me. Skeptic are good at throwing insults at the Bible, and Christians. The truth is, one could hold a masters degree in English, and still cannot understand the bible. At the same time a man that do not have a GED, understood it.

2 Peter 1:21 (NKJV) for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

HOLY MEN OF GOD GIVE IT TO US AND HOLY MEN OF GOD MUST EXPLAINED IT TO US.

To prevent your faith from being eroded by those who find the gospel of Christ offensive, you must add to your faith, you must set aside certain amount of time per day for Bible Study. You must buy Christians books, and do courses, which will enrich your faith. If you are call to preach you must enlist in a Bible school, and spent time in prayers seeking God enlightens. Also you need to know that the commentators on TV are working against the Bible.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ADD TO YOUR FAITH.

Jude 1:20 (NASB-U) But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

Jude 1:3 (KJV) Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Col. 2:7 (KJV) Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Christians just sit back waiting for Jesus to return so they a can go, and live with him, but fail to see that we have been call to defend the gospel, and contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints. If you did not suffer with him you will never reign with him. We stand by and watch skeptics erode the very foundation of the faith, we support their movies, and buy their music, we sit back and let Muslims do our fighting for us, then we cry in our church how we love Jesus. Yes! I think we love Jesus the same way as Judas Iscariot. We sold Jesus for peanuts.

Mark 8:38 (KJV) Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

You might have heard the terminology “He got two life sentence” Then people ask. How many lives do we expect him to live? A life sentence is a judicial terminology. Which mean a period of time serve or to serve, and not necessarily the duration of ones entire life span. A life sentence is any where from fifteen to twenty five years, if my argument is correct.

If a person has no knowledge of Judicial terminology they will miss out on the main point. So we can assumed that a life sentence and twenty five years is one and the same thing.

Many people fails to understand the Bible. Because the Bible came from the Land of Israel. You have to do a study into the manners and customs of such people, to even begin to understand the Bible. The problem is, many English people like myself hardly know English which we speak, much more to know any thing about the language, the manners and custom of Israel. But if you really want to be able to interpret the Bible you will have to consider getting at lease the basic knowledge into the things that we have discussed so far.

A 3.5 floppy disk was handed to me with about fifteen pages of suppose contradictions by an x-minister friend of mine. This man spent his entire life studying the bible to try to prove every bit of it false. He came from a long line of ministers, every body in his family is involved in the church are is a minister of the gospel of Christ. Something went wrong, and put him off course. He is one of the most dedicated skeptics of all time. What he came up with, can shake the foundation of the faith of some of believers if they do not know their bible. Untold thousand might have been driven off course because of him.

I have unravel his mistakes and presented it to you, in one big panorama. It is important for ministers to gather the work of skeptics and give an explanation to it, or else it could undermine the faith of many believers. Before we go into the study please read these few line first. Most of this writing is not my work, therefore. I can only edit those parts that are my direct work.

John 14:26 (NASB-U) "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. The scriptures were not written by dunce as some suppose. Holy men of God spoke as they were move by the Holy Spirit. The holy spirit put the scriptures together and he is the only one that can inspirited men to decipher it.

2 Peter 3:16 (KJV) As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

YOUR FAITH CAN BE UNDER MINE AND OVER THROW.

2 Tim. 2:18 (KJV) Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

BUT, WOE TO THE MAN THAT DO SUCH A THING.

Isaiah 45:9 (NASB) "Woe to the one who quarrels with his Maker-- An earthenware vessel among the vessels of earth! Will the clay say to the potter, 'What are you doing?' Or the thing you are making say, 'He has no hands'?

I will code name his questions as “SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

“MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM ” This is my respond to the questions.

Every so call contradiction in the scriptures can be explained, it is lack of knowledge on our part why we cannot, and because of the free and easy money to be achieve from starting church and became ministers, many people do not bother to get a spiritual education before they start preaching, so because of that many of who is preaching the gospel can make noise but cannot answer a question nor clear up mess like these. Years ago I came across these two contradictions in the Bible. Gen 15:13 said it was 400 Years Israel will spent in Egypt as slaves. Exodus said it was 430 years. I say “When will these guys make up their mind up, which is it?

Genesis 15:13 (KJV) And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

Exodus 12:40 (KJV) Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.

THE ANSWER IS.

From the time that God gave the word that Moses must go to Pharaoh, and by pharaoh finally give in and give them the word to go, when he could not take the punishment any more is what changes the time. Part of the time, that is, at the end of these articles will go back to it. Because one person says the Israelites only spent 215 years.

When the President of the United States gave the word that the salves were to be set free. Since I lost my book, “Why the slave revolt” I want to say rumors has it that, Certain men came up with a new thing call the apprentice, they want the slaves to serve for seven more years, for them to learn to live on their own. On the book the slaves were free from the president sign the bill, but did not obtained their freedom until years after.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matt+26:6-13>, Mark+14:3> The anointing of Jesus takes place in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper. Luke+7:36-38> It takes place at the house of a Pharisee in Galilee.” Which of the two bible passage is correct?

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM.

St Matthew 26: 6-13. Record that it took place at Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, while St Luke told us that the leper was a Pharisee. Also St Luke 7:36-38 did not say it was Galilee.

Luke 7:36-38 (KJV) And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat. [37] And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, [38] And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

Matthew 26:6-7 (KJV) Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, [7] There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.

St Matthew tell us the man’s name while leave out his religious status. While St Luke tell us the man’s religion but leave out his name.

“Can there be a greater stumbling block than [Christianity]? All the prophets spoke of Moshiach as the redeemer of Israel and their savior, who would gather their dispersed ones and strengthen their [observance of the] mitzvos. In contrast [the founder of Christianity] caused the Jews to be slain by the sword[ the Crusade, the Inquisition and the Holocaust] their remnants to be scattered and humiliated, the Torah to be altered, and the majority of the world to err and serve a god other than G.D Stumbling block to what, and to whom?

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

..............LK 1:26-38 Luke+1:26-38> The angel who appears to Mary to foretell the birth of Jesus says that Jesus will be given the throne of David, that he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and that his kingdom will never end. (None of this took place nor can it now be fulfilled unless the Jewish Messiah is at hand.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM.

At Jesus first coming, he did not come to take a throne, but to die for humanity sins. In fact a throne was offered him two times, and he refuses it. Satan himself offered Jesus his throne and Christ refuses it. Then the people came to make him a king by force and he refuses it.

John 6:15 (KJV) When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

MT 16:28 Matthew+16:28>, MK 9:1 Mark+9:1>, LK 9:27 ?Luke+9:27> Jesus says that some of his listeners will not taste death before he comes again in his kingdom. This was said almost 2000 years ago. (Note: This and many other passages indicate that Jesus was to come again in a relatively short period of time and not just "quickly" as present day Biblicists assert. All of his listeners are now dead, yet Jesus has not come again in his kingdom. All of the alleged words of Jesus recorded in the Bible are therefore suspect.)

The time has long past that one can claim Jesus will come back” quickly." Thus, what we have in Revelation 22:20 is a false prophesy. they expected him "quickly" they expected that those alive that day would see the "new kingdom"...but they died. and it never happened.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM.

"Quickly" Where God is concern could well be a thousand years. As well as one day.

Psalm 90:4 (KJV) For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

2 Peter 3:8 (KJV) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Also the kingdom of God was right they’re invisible and visible to those who could see it.

Matthew 12:28 (KJV) But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

SATAN IS ALSO A KING AND HAS A KINGDOM.

Matthew 12:26 (KJV) And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

MK 16:17-18 ?Mark+16:17-18> A believer can handle snakes or drink poison and not experience any harm. (Note: Many unfortunate believers have died as a result of handling snakes and drinking poison. This kind of assertion negates the Bible [NT] as a useful guidebook for life.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Acts 28:3-5 (KJV) And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. [4] And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. [5] And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

God did not say we should go pick up snakes for fun, or to show how spiritual we are. The snakes that snakes handlers are picking up are tame snakes. Luke 10:19 (NASB) "Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall injure you.

Mark 16:18 (KJV) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

It is important to know that not because the bible say serpents. It could be also talking about people. Matthew 23:33 (KJV) Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Skepticism of X ministers.

WHAT PROPAGANDA WHAT A DISGRACE the Gospels are simply a hodges podge of fabrication or contradiction or pagan myths mixed up to tell the truth or lie. You be the judge Are the following a report, a narration or else?

TRUE OR FALSE

Matthew+1:6-7> The lineage of Jesus is traced through David's son, Solomon. Luke+3:23-31> It is traced through David's son, Nathan. (Note: Some apologists assert that Luke traces the lineage through Mary. That this is untrue is obvious from the context since Luke and Matthew both clearly state that Joseph was Jesus' father.)

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

There are many definitions of fatherhood. Biological father, adaptive father, legal father, spiritual father and founded father.

Joseph is Jesus legal father. Legal father is a father, adaptive father is a father. Biological parents can give up their child for adoptions. But an adapted child cannot be return, or given back to the biological parents. So legal father is a father, Joseph is Jesus legal father.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+2:13-16> Following the birth of Jesus, Joseph and Mary flee to Egypt, (where they stay until after Herod's death) in order to avoid the murder of their firstborn by Herod. Herod slaughters all male infants two years old and under. (Note: John the Baptist, Jesus' cousin, though under two is somehow spared without fleeing to Egypt.)

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

John the Baptist grew up in the wilderness, where he eats locusts and wild honey.

Matthew 3:4 (KJV) And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.

Just as Moses was spared while in Egypt while others was killed. At the same time Aaron brother of Moses was also spared. When Abab killed out the prophets of God, Obadiah was spared and was also living in Abab house, and was Ahab’s Minister. God let some flee to safety while preventing some from leaving and keep them safe right where they are. But, it is important to know that John Baptist was some how living in the wilderness.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Luke+2:22-40> Records. Following the birth of Jesus, Joseph and Mary remain in the area of Jerusalem for the Presentation (about forty days) and then return to Nazareth without ever going to Egypt. There is no slaughter of the infants.

Matthew+2:23> "And he went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets: He will be called a Nazarene.'" (This prophecy is not found in the O.T. and while Jesus is often referred to as "Jesus of Nazareth", he is seldom referred to as "Jesus the Nazarene.")According to History Nazareth become a city until the year 50-60 AD

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

St Matthew records the flight into Egypt, and the return, with the child still being a young child. St Luke records the child and his mother settle in Nazareth after return from Egypt.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+3:11-14>, John+1:31-34> John realized the true identity of Jesus (as the Messiah) either prior to the actual Baptism, or from the Baptism onward. The very purpose of John's baptism was to reveal Jesus to Israel.

Matthew+11:2-3> After the Baptism, John sends his disciples to ask if Jesus is the Messiah.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

What do you expect from a man who is near death and is about to get his head chop off? The man was discouraged, and cast down. He wanted to be made sure that his prediction that Jesus was the messiah was correct.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+11:7-15>, 17:12-13 Jesus says that John the Baptist was a prophet, and more.

John+1:21> John himself says that he is not a prophet, nor is he Elijah. Who tells the truth?

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Most prophets never regarded themselves as prophets, they do not want to boast, and did not want to be call a prophet. Prophet was not paid, prophet was not honored in his or her own country. And most of all no body wants a prophet’s death.

Amos 7:14 (NASB-U) Then Amos replied to Amaziah, "I am not a prophet, nor am I the son of a prophet; for I am a herdsman and a grower of sycamore figs.

Zech. 13:5 (KJV) But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.

MOST PROPHETS NEVER KNOW THAT THEY WERE PROPHETS UNTIL GOD TOLD THEM.

Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV) Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Some of them did not even want such a job

Jeremiah 1:5-10 (KJV) Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. [6] Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. [7] But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. [8] Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. [9] Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. [10] See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

MOSES DID NOT WANT A PROPHET JOB.

Exodus 4:10-14 (KJV) And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. [11] And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord? [12] Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say. [13] And he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send. [14] And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.

So what if John says he was not a prophet. I am a prophet who forth-tell. Did I want such a job no.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+4:1-11>, Mark+1:12-13> immediately following his Baptism, Jesus spent forty days in the wilderness resisting temptation by the Devil.

John+2:1-11> Three days after the Baptism, Jesus was at the marriage in Cana. How could he be spending forty days in the wilderness while three days after he is at a wedding, whose telling the truth here?

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

(There is nothing in the text that indicates, that it was three days after the baptism that Jesus performs the miracle in Cana.)

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+5:17-19>, Luke+16:17> Jesus underscores the permanence of the law. Leviticus+10:8> - 11:47 , -Deuteronomy+14:3-21> The law distinguishes between clean and unclean foods.

Mark+7:14-15>, Mark+7:18-19> Jesus says that there is no such distinction. 1+Timothy+4:1-4> All foods are clean according to Paul

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Remember that Jesus told his disciples to go into all the world with the gospel. You have to eat what your converts eat. You cannot just walk into people country and stop them from eating certain things that they were accustomed to eat from generation. 1 Tim 4:1-4 says all food are clean if you bless it before eating.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+11:22-24>, Luke+10:13-15> Jesus curses the inhabitants of several cities who are not sufficiently impressed with his mighty works.

Matthew+21:19>, Mark+11:12-14> Jesus curses a fig tree when it fails to bear fruit out of season.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

It is not uncommon for tress to have fruits long after the season has ended.) Especially fig trees. If Jesus expects to find something, then something should be there. The fig tree speaks of God’s people who must have fruits in season and out of seasons.

2 Tim. 4:2 (KJV) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Mark+3:5> Jesus looks around "angrily." Matthew+11:29> Jesus says that he is gentle (meek) and humble (lowly).

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Ephes. 4:26 (KJV) Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

John+2:15> Jesus makes a whip of cords, drives the money changers from the Temple, overturns their tables, and pours out their coins. (Note: The presence of the money

Anger is a natural emotion as long as you do not sin because of it.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+5:43-44>, Matthew+22:39> Love your enemies. Love your neighbor as yourself Matthew+10:5> Go nowhere among the Gentiles nor enter a Samaritan town.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Mark 16:15 (KJV) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

The fullness of time did not came for the gentiles to get the gospel. However, when the fullness of time came, they get it.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+7:21,Luke+10:36-37>, Romans+2:6>, 13 , James+2:24> We are justified by works, not by faith. John+3:16>, Romans+3:20-26>, We are justified by faith, not by works.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Faith and work is like husband and wife, one is no good without the other. James 4:17 So also faith of itself, if it does not have Works, is dead. James show us the important of works, while Paul show us the importance of faith.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+9:18> The ruler's daughter was already dead when Jesus raised her. Luke+8:42> She was dying, but not dead.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Matthew 9:18 (KJV) While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshiped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

Jesus did not say she was dead. A certain ruler said that the child was dead.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+10:1-8> Jesus gives his disciples the power to exorcism and heal... Matthew+17:14-16> (Yet) the disciples are unable to do so.

Before they received the power they were unable to do so, but after they received the power we see where they were able to do as they were commanded.

Luke 10:17 (KJV) And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Luke 10:20 (KJV) Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+10:34>, Luke+12:49-53> Jesus has come to bring a sword, fire, and division--not peace. John+16:33> Jesus says: "In me you have peace."

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Jesus first coming was not necessarily to bring peace among humanity, some would find peace because of him, but his first coming was to die.

Matthew 20:28 (KJV) Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Mark 10:45 (KJV) For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

1 Tim. 2:6 (KJV) Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

John 6:15 (KJV) When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

“End” Talking about the saints in the Great tribulation.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

John+3:5> Only he that is born of water and Spirit will be saved. Acts+16:31> He that believes on the Lord Jesus will be saved.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

The water that came from Christ side at his death, mingle with blood. If you believe that, that mean you believe in Christ’s death.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

1+John+4:7> He who loves is born of God (and presumably will be saved.) Acts+2:21> He that calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved Romans+10:9> He who confesses with his mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believes in his heart that God raised him from the dead will be saved.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

I would suppose that one call on the lord with their mouth and not their foot would you agree?

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+10:28>, LK 12:4 <+12:4> Jesus says not to fear men. (Fear God only.) Matthew+12:15-16>, John+7:1-10>, 8:59 , 10:39 , 11:53-54 John+11:53-54> Jesus hid, escaped, went secretly, etc.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

If Jesus hides and leaves, is because he did not want a crowd to fallow him. Because everywhere he went a crown fallow. Jesus did not want the people to get hurt in the cross fire, that would fallow from people trying to kill him. John 18:6 (NASB) When therefore He said to them, "I am He," they drew back, and fell to the ground. John 18:8 (KJV) Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+5:37>, 15:19 , Mark+7:22>, John+8:14>, 44 , 14:6 , 18:37 Jesus says that you should answer a plain "yes" or "no," that his purpose is to bear witness to the truth, and that his testimony is true. He equates lying with evil.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

St John 18:27 (NASB) Peter therefore denied it again; and immediately a cock crowed. In john 1827: Jesus did not say anything also, not all answer can be plain yes or plain no.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

John+7:2-10> Jesus tells his brothers that he is not going to Jerusalem for the Feast of the Tabernacles, then later goes secretly by himself. (Note: The words "not yet" were added to some versions at John+7:8> in order to alleviate this problem. The context at John+7:10> makes the deception clear, however.)

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Our lord plainly says he would go up later. St John 7:8 (KJV) Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. John 7:8 (Living) You go on, and I'll come later when it is the right time."

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+16:18> Jesus founds his church on Peter and will give him the keys of the kingdom. Matthew+16:23> Jesus calls Peter [a] "Satan" and "a hindrance," and accuses him of being on the side of men rather than that of God.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Lies, Jesus rebukes Satan himself who was using peter against Peter’s will. The key to the kingdom was laid upon the confession of peter and not upon peter himself.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Acts+15:1-21> James presides over the first Council of Jerusalem and formulates the decree regarding the accepting of Gentiles which is sent to the other churches. (Note: Tradition has it that James was appointed as the first Bishop or Pope, not Peter.)

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Peter was to the Jews, James to the Gentiles. Upon the confession of peter, don’t forget that.

18 The word translated “rock,” is not the same word as Peter, but is of a similar meaning. Nothing can be more wrong than to suppose that Christ meant the person of Peter was the rock. Without doubt Christ himself is the Rock, the tried foundation of the church; and woe to him that attempts to lay any other! Peter’s confession is this rock as to doctrine. If Jesus be not the Christ, those that own him are not of the church, but deceivers and deceived. Our Lord next declared the authority with which Peter would be invested.

WE SHOULD NOT FORGET THAT PETER WAS THE ONE THAT PREACH THE FIRST SERMON THE DAY OF PENTECOST, OPEN UP THE GOSPEL MESSAGE TO THE WORLD AND NOT JAMES.

So what if James speaks at the council, they all speak. The opinion of James was, that the Gentile converts ought not to be troubled about Jewish rites, but that they should abstain from meats offered to idols, so that they might show their hatred of idolatry. Also, that they should be cautioned against fornication, which was not abhorred by the Gentiles as it should be, and even formed a part of some of their rites. They were counseled to abstain from things strangled, and from eating blood; this was forbidden by the law of Moses, and also here, from reverence to the blood of the sacrifices, which being then still offered, it would needlessly grieve the Jewish converts, and further prejudice the unconverted Jews. But as the reason has long ceased, we are left free in this, as in the like matters.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER”

Matthew+17:1-2> The Transfiguration occurs six days after Jesus foretells his suffering. Luke+9:28-29> It takes place about eight days afterwards.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Luke 9:28-36. Jesus Transfigured. 28. an eight days after these sayings—including the day on which this was spoken and that of the Transfiguration. Matthew and Mark say (Matthew 17:1; Mark 9:2) "after six days," excluding these two days. As the "sayings" so definitely connected with the transfiguration scene are those announcing His death—at which Peter and all the Twelve were so startled and scandalized—so this scene was designed to show to the eyes as well as the heart how glorious that death was in the view of Heaven.

Matthew+20:29-34> Jesus heals two blind men on the way to Jericho. Mark+10:46-52> He heals one blind man.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Jesus heals many blind men, one, one time and two one time and so forth.

Matthew+21:2-6>, Mark+11:2-7>, Luke+19:30-35> The disciples follow Jesus instructions and bring him the animal (or animals, in the case of ). John+12:14> Jesus finds the animal himself.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

Matthew 21:2 (NASB) saying to them, "Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a colt with her; untie them, and bring them to Me. Jesus is credited for finding the animal because he told them where the animals were. St John 12:14 gives Jesus full credit for finding the animals, because he told them where the animals were.

Matthew+21:19-20> The fig tree withers immediately after being cursed by Jesus. The disciples notice and are amazed. Mark+11:13-14>, 20-21 The disciples first notice that the tree has withered the day following.

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

The disciples notice that the curse cause the death of the tree, while the following morning they further notice that it dried up from the root. Trees begin to show sign of death in the leaves immediately.

“SKEPTICISM OF X-MINISTER” A

Matt+24:29-33>, The coming of the kingdom will be accompanied by signs and miracles.

Mark 13:24-28 (KJV) But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, [25] And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. [26] And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. [27] And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. [28] Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

MY ANSWER TO THE SKEPTICISM

This is talking about the second coming of Christ, and not about setting up of the kingdom. Luke+17:20-21> It will not be accompanied by signs and miracles. It is already within.

Luke 17:20-21 (KJV) And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: [21] Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

The Sojourn of Abraham's Seed

The actual sojourn of Abraham's descendants in Egypt was only 215 years. There were other countries which made up the land of sojourn (Genesis 12:1-20; Genesis 13:1-18; Genesis 15:13-14; Genesis 20:1-18; Genesis 21:22-34; Genesis 23:4; Genesis 26:3-35; Genesis 28:10; Genesis 29:1; Genesis 31:13-55; Genesis 35:6; Genesis 37:1; Genesis 46:1-7; Genesis 47:27; Genesis 50:22-26 ; Exodus 1-12; Hebrews 11:8-10). The 400 years of Genesis 15:13 and Acts 7:6 date back to the time when Isaac was weaned and confirmed as the heir, and Ishmael was cast out (Genesis 21:12; Galatians 4:30). At that time Isaac was 5 years old.

Other scriptures speak of the period as 430 years (Exodus 12:40; Galatians 3:14-17), and that reckoning takes in the 5 years of Isaac's life and 25 years prior to his birth—when Abraham went into Canaan to sojourn (see §Genesis 47:9, note). The following outline shows how the 430 years are accounted for:

How Years Were Reckoned Years

1. From the 75th year of Abraham to the birth of Isaac (Genesis 12:4; Genesis 21:5) 25 2. From Isaac's birth to that of Jacob (Genesis 25:26) 60 3. From Jacob's birth to his death (Genesis 47:28) 147 4. From Jacob's death to that of Joseph (Genesis 37:2; Genesis 41:46; Genesis 47:28; Genesis 50:22) 54 5. From Joseph's death to the exodus from Egypt (Exodus 12:40; Galatians 3:14-17) 144 _____ TOTAL: 430

b [in the land that is not theirs] Exodus 1-2; Psal m 105:13-43; Acts 7:6. c [four hundred years] Four hundred years dates from Isaac's confirmation as Abraham's heir and seed. He had no official seed until then (Acts 7:6). See Length of Dispensation of Promise.

Genesis 15:13 a [Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; and also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge; and afterward shall they come out with great substance. And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age. But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.] The 17th prophecy in Genesis (Genesis 15:13-16). Next, §Genesis 15:18. This predicts that Abraham's seed would be sojourners for four hundred years more; that Egypt would be punished for enslaving Israel; that Israel would become rich; that Abraham would live long; and that his seed would come out of Egypt in the fourth generation to defeat the Amorites. All of the prophecy was fulfilled in the exodus and settlement of Canaan under Moses and Joshua (Exodus 7:1-14:31; Numbers 21:21-25; Joshua 12).
