C an a Christians be possessed by an evil spirit? This question is being ask, by believers and unbelievers for un-reckon ages. However, Christendom is very divided over such matter. I think many years of searching and researching as let me to come to a conclusion, an to put an end to this century old quest, once and for all. Demons possession is design by Satan to mimics the operation of the Holy Spirit. To Hijack the believers, and to create bad doctrine, bad beliefs system and confusion, in the camp of the saints. Demons do not need to possessed a person to use them. All! They need is access to the person, by having power over our mind and actions. They use the body like an house, they come and go. Man is too weak, to petty, who want to live in our body all day?
Mark 9:20 (KJV) And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.
IF YOU BELIEFS SYSTEM ARE DISTORTED SO WILL BE OUR DELIVERANCE AND VICTORY:
Hosea 4:6 (KJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Your knowledge is the vast amount of information that you have gathered over the years, and come to believe in. Yes! What you believe is important. Our victory is measured by what we know and come to believe. What we believe about the Holy Spirit, will determine what the measure of our victory will be.
TWO DIFFERENT SCHOOLS OF THOUGHT:
There are two schools of thought on this subject matter. (1) “Since a believer has the Holy Spirit living in them, the Holy Spirit and demons cannot share the same body.”
My question is this. Is this an opinion! Are, can it be proven from the scriptures? If it can be proven from the scriptures, where in scriptures does it teaches that the Holy Spirit and demons cannot share the same body? All of us, both Satan, and God, and us human being are living in the same universe.
The first school of thought bring it across like every believer has a Holy Ghost walking around with in their body, just like how a baby is in his or her mother's womb.
(2) The second school of thought is, “The Holy Spirit does not physical and literally living in each believers. He lived and dwell in each believers by a union. And not necessarily physical and literally living in their body.”
Things to remember here are, we are not talking about Satanic or demonic deception. We are talking about possession. Any believer can be deceived, but not all can be possessed. In fact; in my opinion, all of us are in some way deceived.
WHAT “FILL” WITH THE HOLY GHOST DO NOT MEAN:
Ephes. 5:18 (KJV) And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
The doctrine of interpenetration (inter-penetration) does not mean physical entrance into, but union with, so the idea is that there is a measure and a fullness, a partial union with and a complete union with the Spirit.
Filled with the Holy Ghost does not mean, the Holy Ghost himself came to physically and literally live in our human body. To stay in our body and watch us backbites each other. And help us commit our sins. The only spirit that is suppose to be in your body is your human spirit that you were born with. Any spirit trying to take control of or gain access to your body or mind; need to be rebuke and cast out.
Luke 22:3 (KJV) Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
Satan, as an angel, could not possibly enter physically into Judas, for he has his own personal spirit body as big as a man. The so-called doctrine of interpenetration, that is, persons entering physical into each other, is false. The Bible does speak of the Corinthians and Philippians being in Paul's heart (2 Cor. 7:3; Phil. 1:7); God being in Christ (2 Cor. 5:19); Christ being in God (John 14:20); God and Christ being in each other (John 14:10-11); men being in both the Father and the Son (1 John 2:24); men being in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17); men and the Spirit being in each other (Romans 8:9); Christ being in men (Col. 1:27; Romans 8:10); man and Christ being in each other (John 14:20); all creation being in God (Acts 17:28); and Satan entering into men (Luke 22:3; John 13:27).
However, these passages refer to being in union with, being consecrated to the same end-one in mind, purpose, and life. They do not teach physical entrance of one being into another. It may be best understood by a man and woman becoming one in life together, being in each other's plans, life, etc. Hence, Satan entering into Judas simply means Judas submitted to Satan's temptation to betray Jesus. He became one with Satan, like men become one in spirit with God when joined to Him in consecration (1 Cor. 6:17).
“WALKING IN THE SPIRIT”
“Filled with the spirit” “Spirit Be in you” Spirit be upon you”” Walk in the spirit” “Live in the spirit”” The Spirit fall upon them” “You are the temple of the Spirit” “You are the body of Christ”” Baptize in the spirit” “Christ came to live in you at conversion” All these are Idioms and are not intended by the apostles to be taking literally and physically. Let us look at some English and American Idioms. Walk in the spirit mean to walk in the word. Walk in the word, men to conduct our lives base on principles found in the scriptures. It does not mean to tied two bibles to our feet as we walk along day by day. It is the same thing. “Fill” with the spirit does not mean to have a Holy Spirit in us like a woman has babies in her uterus.

“Pulling your legs” When someone say that they are pulling your legs, they did not actually touch your leg, it mean that they are tricking you. It is not to be taking literally since the person did not even touches your leg.
"I hear it from the horse mouth" This means that he or she has heard it from a good source. It does not mean that a horse has said something. "Greasing the man palm" If your supervisor is giving you trouble you will need to grease him palm. This does not mean that you must hold him down and full his hands with grease. It means that you must be friend him, be kind to him and he will loosen up, and treat you good. “The man jump ship” Mean the person change their course of action quickly, and does not mean that the person physical jump off a ship.
A VAST WORLD OF RELIGIOUS DEMONS:
Acts 16:16-23 (NKJV) Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling. 17 This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, "These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation." 18 And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, "I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her." And he came out that very hour. 19 But when her masters saw that their hope of profit was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to the authorities. 20 And they brought them to the magistrates, and said, "These men, being Jews, exceedingly trouble our city; 21 and they teach customs which are not lawful for us, being Romans, to receive or observe." 22 Then the multitude rose up together against them; and the magistrates tore off their clothes and commanded them to be beaten with rods. 23 And when they had laid many stripes on them, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them securely.
Many Christians do not realized that this same spirit is working in some churches today and is getting away with it. How can a man preach the gospel for some nineteen years then suddenly got up one day and say “ The whole bible stuff is false” You mean it take him nineteen years to find out that? Can any body be so dumb? The reason, this person was led by a religious demons, and has a Satanic conversion, which is quite similar to born again experience. The difference between a Satanic conversion and genuine Holy Spirit conversion, it this. “Empathy” The genuine converted person has empathy. The Satanic one has all the gifts of the spirit, but no human feelings.
1 John 4:20 (NKJV) If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
No born again person can be a racist. No born again person can be prejudice, for long. Once the love of God is shed abroad in your heart, it melts away all this foolish stuff.
HOLY SPIRIT TAKE THE LOVE OF GOD AND PUT IT IN HIS PEOPLE HEARTS:
Romans 5:5 (KJV) And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
A SELF DISPLAYING SPIRIT:
1 Cor. 14:40 (KJV) Let all things be done decently and in order.
1 Cor. 14:33 (KJV) For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
Watch a self-displaying spirit, and a spirit that causes tension. This is a demons straight from the pit of hell. If it is not in order, it is not of God.
