S keptics and Bible haters dominate the intellectual landscape of society. If a terrorist cell can get the mind of our young people poison against the Bible. The younger generation will have no moral code. If a people has no moral code, then that people is nothing more than robots. They will do, and say any thing, without feelings and remorse. There is a full raging war going on for the mind of our young people. The primary goal is to get their mind poison toward the Bible. Our young people leaving home and going into the school system are running headlong, into a mongoose trap. If we failed to give them a good Biblical background before they leave home, they will return home with their heads full of educated trash. We must keep an open eye on organizations that are Bible scared.
Christians and Jews are called “The people of the book” For countless generations, we the people of the book have been turning the pages of the holy books, and asking. What time is it? Where are we on the calendar of the ages? In this dispensation, what does the books have to say about my conducts and my attitudes toward my spouse, my employer, my coworkers, my brethren; my neighbors and my children? How does God speak to us in this generation through the written word? How can the Bible help the young people of our generation? To help the young people of our generation, we must build back their faith in the Holy Scriptures. We must give them a good Biblical foundation before we sending them off to universities. Many of the professors in these universities hate God, and have an agenda to erode the faith of the young.
Isaiah 28:9 (KJV)Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. Isaiah 28:10 (KJV) For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
“OVER ZEALOUS AND OVER RIGHTEOUS PARENTS”
To help our young people, it is bad medicine to give them a holier that thou kind of attitude. Giving the young people a “never sin,” kind of attitude will causes them to be spiritual bankrupt, in the fight to stay so-call spiritually clean. Trying to keep them sexually pure, can also have side effect, once they experience sex and get to like it. They will become more rebellious against God and the Church, after finding out that they cannot quit on their own. We do not want to give them a negative view of what God created for us to enjoy. You and I cannot live a spiritual life and follow spiritual principle, while still be in our unregenerate state.
“HOW DOES GOD SPEAK TO US IN THIS GENERATION:”
God speak to us by the prophets through the Testaments. If the testaments are undermined, the people cease to hear the voice of God. The prophets were commanded by God to write down what he told them; so future generation can have it. How could a book written over the centuries help us today? God want us to look into the scriptures for examples, and principles and applied them to the situations that we are in, and our life will be healed. The scriptures hold the key, to every aspect of our lives.
Jeremiah 36:1 (KJV) And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that this word came unto Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, Jeremiah 36:2 (KJV) Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spoke unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even into this day. Jeremiah 36:3 (KJV) It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.
1 Samuel 10:25 (KJV) Then Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the Lord. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house.
“WE CAN SPURN IT OR WE CAN BETTER OUR LIFE WITH IT”
Jeremiah 36:23 (KJV) And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.
Jeremiah 36:28 (KJV) Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned.
“PREVENTING CRITICS FROM UNDERMINING YOUR FAITH IN THE BIBLE”
Men spent their entire life, studying the Bible, not to learn any thing from its pages, but to destroy the faith of the young people. Therefore, the next generation can live without hope, and salvation. If Satan can prove one verse of scriptures to be incorrect, he can cast doubt upon the entire Bible.
Any piece of literatures can be taken out of context and twisted by a clever critic. During the prophet’s era and the Christian’s era, there is not one prophet, or apostle, that did not have to combat the forces of darkness to bring the truth to us.
“THE PURPOSE FOR THIS ARTICLE:”
In this article I will show you, how easy it is to undermine your faith and what you will need to do to prevent that from ever happening. There are many suppose inconsistency in scriptures, which look like a genuine contradictions. However, there is an explanation for such. My aim is to give an explanation to these, because these are what the educators are using to draw our young people away from the Bible.
2 Peter 3:16 (KJV) As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
1 Cor. 2:14 (KJV) But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
“YOUR FAITH CAN BE OVERTHROW”
2 Tim. 2:18 (KJV) Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
The believer’s faith can be overthrow, by men who twisted the scriptures, or use the scriptures to for their own purpose. The scriptures said. “ My people are destroyed, because of lack of knowledge”
Col. 2:8 (KJV) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
“HOLY MEN OF GOD GIVE THE SCRIPTURES TO US AND HOLY MEN OF GOD MUST EXPLAIN IT TO US”
2 Peter 1:21 (NKJV) for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
To prevent your faith from being eroded by those who find the gospel of Christ distasteful, you must add to your faith, you must set aside certain amount of time per day for Bible reading. You will not win this battle by speaking in unknowing tongues, you will have to be able to explain the written word and drive away the wolves from the lambs. You must buy Christians books, and do courses, which will enrich your faith. If you are call to preach you must enlist in a Bible school, and spent, time in prayers seeking God enlightens. In addition, you need to know that the commentators on TV are working against the Bible.
“ST MATTHEW SAYS, THE SERMON WAS GIVEN UPON THE MOUNTAIN”
Matthew 5:1 (KJV) And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: Matthew 5:2-3 (KJV) And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, [3] Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
St Matthew says the sermon was preached by our lord upon the mountain. Which mountain we do not know. Saint Luke said the sermon was preached on the plain, which plain we do not know. Why the two accounts are so different? Those who hate the scriptures glad for these inconsistencies, so they can use it to undermined the faith of the saints.
“ST LUKE SAYS, THE SERMON WAS GIVEN DOWN IN THE PLAIN”
Luke 6:17 (KJV) And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; Luke 6:18-20 (KJV) And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. [19] And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all. [20] And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
The answer to why the two accounts are different. Our lord preaches the same sermon, all over the coast, and in many different places. Luke record the time on the plain while St Matthew recorded the time on the mountain. Therefore, the two accounts are true and accurate. As people read the Bible, these suppose contradictions will always jump out at them. These can push your faith over the brink, especial the faith of the young and inexperience. Lets us look at the following difficult verses. Remember that the article is determined to concrete the faith of our young people in the scriptures.
“ISRAEL SPENT FOUR HUNDRED YEARS IN EGYPT”
Genesis 15:13 (KJV) And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
Acts 7:6 (KJV) And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.
“ISRAEL SPENT FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY YEARS”
Exodus 12:40-41 (KJV) Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. [41] And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.
Galatians 3:17 (KJV) And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
What happen here! Why did the two passages give different account of the amount of time the children of Israel spent in Egypt? The answer is this. From the time, that God give Moses the command to deliver to Pharaoh king of Egypt, and by the time, that Pharaoh decides to comply is what makes the different. In God mind, the slaves were freed from the day Moses stand before the king of Egypt.
When the President of the United States gave the word that, the salves were to be set free. “Why the slave revolt” Certain men came up with a new thing call the apprenticeship, they want the slaves to serve for seven more years, for them to learn to live on their own. (On the book) the slaves were free from the president sign the bill, but did not obtained their freedom until years after. This is what happens why we find the different of years.
Exodus 5:2 (KJV) And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the Lord, neither will I let Israel go.
In God’s mind Israel was free, from the message was deliver to Pharaoh. However, the elders of Israel did not make their mind up on leaving until Pharaoh double their daily workload. And pharaoh did not make his mind up to let Israel go until God start killing off pharaoh first born, and pharaoh could not take any more of the punishment, and give in partially. About seven different times over a long period of time. God send Moses to Pharaoh. Saying “Let my people go” This phrase is mention about seven times.
Exodus 5:17-20 (KJV) But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the Lord. [18] Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks. [19] And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not minish ought from your bricks of your daily task. [20] And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh:
“THE ANOINTING OF JESUS”
St Matthew said. Matt+26:6-13, Mark+14:3 The anointing of Jesus takes place in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper.
St Luke said, Luke+7:36-38 it takes place at the house of a Pharisee in Galilee.” Which of the two-bible passage is correct?
“THE ANSWER”
St Matthew 26: 6-13. Record that it took place at Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, while St Luke told us that the leper was a Pharisee.
Luke 7:36-38 (KJV) And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat. [37] And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, [38] And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
Matthew 26:6-7 (KJV) Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, [7] There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.
St Matthew tells us the man’s name while leave out his religious status. While St Luke tell us the man’s religion but leave out his name.
“THE BELIEVERS HANDLING SNAKES”
MK 16:17-18? Mark+16:17-18 A believer can handle snakes or drink poison and not experience any harm.
“THE ANSWER”
Drinking poison and handling poisonous snakes to prove point to sinful men was never in the plan of God.
Acts 28:3-5 (KJV) And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. [4] And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. [5] And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.
God did not say we should go pick up snakes for fun, or to show how spiritual we are. The snakes that snakes handlers are picking up are tame snakes. Luke 10:19 (NASB) "Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall injure you.
Mark 16:18 (KJV) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
It is important to know that not because the Bible say serpents. It could be also talking about people. Matthew 23:33 (KJV) Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
“JESUS HEAL BLIND MEN”
St Matthew say Jesus heals two blind men, sent Luke say it was one blind man. Matthew+20:29-34 Jesus heals two blind men on the way to Jericho. Mark+10:46-52 He heals one blind man.
“THE TRUTH”
Jesus heals many blind men, one at one time and two at another time and so forth.
“JESUS AND THE DONKEY”
Matthew+21:2-6>, Mark+11:2-7>, Luke+19:30-35> The disciples follow Jesus instructions and bring him the animal (or animals, in the case of. St John 12:14 says. Jesus finds the animal himself.
“THE ANSWER”
Matthew 21:2 (NASB) saying to them, "Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a colt with her; untie them, and bring them to Me. Jesus is credited for finding the animal because he told them where the animals were. St John 12:14 gives Jesus full credit for finding the animals, because he told them where the animals were.
YOUNG PEOPLE HORMONE DOES NOT STOP WORKING WITH CHRISTIANITY:
Philip. 3:20-21 (KJV)For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: [21] Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Romans 8:23 (KJV) And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Our bodies were not save at conversion. The work of redemption took place in your spirit man. Our body will be redeemed at the return of our lord. We are still waiting for the redemption of our body.
According to Philip 3:20-21 and Romans 8:23. You are still going to have urges. You have to present your body to the lord as a living sacrifice. Not dead one. Living sacrifice give trouble, you will have trouble keeping that body tied to the altar. However, as you and I grow in the lord what seem impossible will be quite possible.
