Bio Alyssa Milano was raised in Brooklyn by her mother Lin Milano and her dad Tim Milano. She has a younger brother. At the age of 8 she went to an audition for the broadway show, Annie, and she was one of the four that were chosen out of 1500 that showed up! She toured with Annie, along with her mother, for 18 months and gained herself the reputation of being an energetic and charasmatic young actress. After this period she left the show and featured in TV Commercials and Off Broadway productions. Her big break came at the age of 11 when she was cast as Samantha Micelli along side Tony Danza in Who's the Boss? This is when the family uprooted and moved to Hollywood. Alyssa also recorded 5 albums which were very popular in Japan, although she doesnt like to sing anymore and on the show Alyssa Milano:Revealed she said that she wouldnt even sing for her brother now. After a successful 8 year run, taking her to the age of 19, Who's the Boss? ended and Alyssa began to star in independent films, desperately (and successfully) trying to leave behind the child star image she had. Charmed, however, was her next big hit in 1998, playing the role of Phoebe Halliwell, originally the youngest of 3 magical sisters.
