ABOUT MOMS CLUB of FAYETTEVILLE NORTH
The MOMS Club is a national, nonprofit organization specifically
for at-home mothers everywhere. We have monthly meetings with interesting
speakers and discussions, park days, playgroups, babysitting co-ops,
activity groups like arts n' crafts, and a monthly MOMS Night Out.
We also perform service projects to help needy children in our community.
Newletter
Each member receives a monthly newsletter. The newsletters provide
information on new members, upcoming activities, mom of the month,
birthdays, renewals and playgroups. There is also a classifieds
section for members to make announcements or sell personal items.
Mom in Charge
For each event there is a MIC (mom in charge). They receive
RSVPs to ensure that events take place and coordinate new meeting
places if an event is rained out or cancelled. They also arrive
early to set up, collect any fees, do a head count or just greet
the other moms, depending on the circumstance.
PLAYGROUPS
Children can participate in age appropriate playgroups. The
playgroups meet at least once a month. The playgroups are arranged
by birth year: '97, '98, '99, '00 and '01.
COMMITTEES
There are several committees that help keep our club running.
