This was a simple night. Only two different activities happening, well perhaps three different simultaneous events were happening. The main focus of the night was Baking cookies for shut-ins and other people. The youth group was divided up. Those who wanted to go bake went to the kitchen with Chris and baked up a storm!
For those who didn't want to bake, or else didn't feel for the safety of the people or safety of the church if they baked (i.e. Travis), they went out into the lower auditorium and sat down at the tables. Why, you ask?? To make Christmas cards of course. But these weren't any regular Christmas cards. These were hand-crafted by the youth themselves, using glue, markers, scissors, and old christmas cards. Your probably wondering what the third activity was. Well the third activity was to just hang out and talk. After the baking and card making had concluded we went and had our God Talk. I'm happy to announce that no one was injured in the process of making of these treats lol |
