YOUTH CHRISTMAS PARTY
I'm BAT THUMB!!!
Some information submitted by Nicki

We had a fair turn out to this event, more than we had expected which is awesome. That was a nice surprise. We started the night off by playing Catch Phrase. This is always a fun game, the best being when someone gets a word that they have a lot of trouble describing. Oh the laughs. We played Catch Phrase for a few rounds and then stopped.

The next thing we did was watched BAT THUMB. If you would like to get information about this movie click here. This was a hilarious movie. To understand this movie just think of it as a summary of the movie Batman, but with all the actors being Thumbs. Truely hilarious. That gave us 27 minutes of laughter before our next movie, our main movie.

The movie we watched was Hometown Heroes. To quickly sum up what the movie was about. An old coach comes back to coach the high school football team after a 10 year absence (why he was absence - you'll have to watch the movie to know this). Under his guidance the football team tries to save their school and ultimately their town was closing. Do they succeed?? I can't say, you must watch the movie. I'm not going to give everything away.

After the movie we went and had our socializing time downstairs with our snack. We didn't have a gift exchange as we had planned because there were more people than we had anticipated were coming and not everyone had brought gifts. But what to do with some of the gifts. Well.....compete for them. For the gifts that Chris brought, whoever wanted to, could compete against each other in a match of......Tic Tac Toe. Yes that is what I said, TIC TAC TOE!!!

After Tic Tac Toe, we all went downstairs for some snack and during that time somehow got a small football game going downstairs. It turned out to be a lot of fun, luckily no injuries. That is always good, lol.

After everyone settled down and had there snack it was time to head on home.
