When everyone got to the church at 4:30 pm, we sorted into vehicles and went to the Radisson hotel for some swimming. We were their for about three hours just swimming, sliding and having a good time. At about 7:30 pm most of the youth came to the room we were in and got ready to head back to the church for supper which happened to be burritos. Here are some pictures from our time at the pool.

We just hung out at the church for a little while playing Play Station 2 (PS2), Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) and just chatting until about 9:00 pm when we went down to the theater to see 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding'. It was a funny movie. It was over about 11:30 pm. We then headed back to the church.
When we got back to the church we waited to ring in the New Year with party blowers and noise makers....we rang in the New Year twice lol. And after that we just had an hour and a half or so to play DDR, PS2, Ping-pong and chat amongst yourselves. Here are some pictures of people playing DDR.

In the top right corner of the middle picture it shows the group playing Gran Turismo 2 on the PS2.
Then about 1:30 am Chris quieted us down and told us to head up to the sanctuary. When we got their it was very dimly lit with five candles and music playing in the background. He then told us to read some passages and then get a piece of paper and write down all the mistakes and such that we had done that past year we weren't proud of and then once we were completed we went to the candles and burned it. And then we got another piece of paper and wrote how we could change that. And after that everyone could either go back downstairs to the games or stay upstairs and read some of their favorite bible verses.
At about 3:00 am we separated into our sleeping quarters but us girls never fell asleep right away since the guys had a walkie-talkie hidden in the vents.....but we got it out MUHAHAHA.....so after that was done with, everyone fell asleep well except for me, Gill, Stefi and Jess. We pulled an all-nighter without ANY sugar guys!!! :p.
At about 8:30 am a bunch of us went up to the youth room since we were keeping the girls awake and talked until the others woke up at 10:30. We had breakfast and cleaned up and left the church at noon. I don't know what you guys had done January 1st but I slept. I hope you guys all had a great New Years I know I sure did thanks for all of it Chris, Vivienne and Mike! It was a blast . Happy New Years!
