SPECIAL GUEST #2 (GARGON?)
What's a gargon????

Well Chris was building the suspense for this youth event. All he told us in his email was that we were going to be playing a new game and it was more fun than fugitive. Well that was a big task!! and it build a lot of suspense. I know I couldn't wait until Friday to find out what this new game was.

Once everyone got to the church we started the nights activities. Everyone went to the Clara Sinclair Room and we had a guest speaker come and talk. His name was Lloyd Colburn. He told us about his life and the many struggles he has gone through. He told us of his trouble with alcholism and how God helped him get through that. He told us about his part in the fighting of World War II. It was awesome to hear what he had to say and he used a special tactic to keep us in tune, COMEDY. He made jokes about his hometown and other things that we couldn't help but laugh about. He ended by giving us the following bit of advance. He told us that when God calls us, we should be ready to listen to what he has to say.

After Lloyd left we all went downstairs and had our snack. Treatza Pizzas!! MMMMMM mMMM good. After about a half hour or so of eating and chatting it was time to play the new game. The new game was called GARGON. Chris explained the game to us and then the chosen people went to their respective locations and then 3 minutes later the game began.

Well I think the game didn't disappoint. It was probably just as good as fugutive is. It was hard at time trying to avoid the gargons in your attempt to find the missing parts of the flashlight and the ticket holders. In the end we finally caught the gargon but it took a long while.

After the Gargon game we all ended up back in the youth room. All hot and sweaty and stuck in a small room, PERFECT combination, lol!!! A few of us went around the church cleaning up any tickets or papers that might be on the floors and locked up everything. It was almost 11 pm at this time so it was called a night.
