Everyone met at the church at 7:30 pm. We hung around for a little bit and waited for some stragglers. Then we all went outside to the front of the church for a group photo. This was our official 2003 First Baptist Church Youth Group photo. I will put one of them up at a later time when I get one.
After the group photos were taken we headed on down to Kinsmen park. We had a lot of fun there. A bunch of people had a large game of tag on the playground equipment. We also had a large group of people on the teeter-totter lol. How many? I don't know lol, but there was a few of us that is for sure. After a little bit Chris rounded us all up and we split into three teams. Three teams? That is odd. Well it got more odd when we found out we were playing 3 way soccer. Everything was the same as a normal soccer game but instead of having just two teams playing we had three teams playing all at once. It was fun and interesting. It had been spiting for a bit so the grass was a little wet and that made the game all that more fun. Slipping and sliding around while trying to quickly manuever around people because a comical site to watch. Once it got dark we headed back to the church for some snacks and our god talk. We then hung out for a bit and at around 11 pm everyone left to go home. Just a side note this was the largest turn out we have ever had. I believe there were 33 or so people who came, which is just awesome!!!!!!!!! |
