Games Blitz
Boardway with hotels....you owe me 2G's

We had this event at the church and it started at 7:30 pm. The way this night worked was we had four games: Twister, Frustration, Monopoly, Jenga. There was about 16 people so we split into groups of about 4. Each group started at a game. After about 20 minutes everyone stopped and we rotated clockwise to the next game. We took over the positions of the people in the game ahead of us. For twister this created some interesting switches.

I would have to say Twister was the most painful but the most fun game of the bunch. Near the end of the games portion (before the devotion) we played a big game of twister. We played it with two of the coloured mats. This turned out to be quite fun since we had about 6 people playing at one time. Finally it came to to Quinn and myself. We got rid of the other mat and after about 10 minutes we called it a draw because we both knew that neither one of us was going to give in.

Then we had our snack time and our devotional.

Then we played the final 'board' game, Catch Phrase. In this board game you have a buzzer and the machine that has a paper disk with words on it. You click it and it changes the word. You split into two teams and sit opposite each other. Then the first person starts by describing the word on the wheel without using that word or other variations such as sounds like, or rhymes with. Once their team guesses the words then the person passes it to the first person on the other team. Then it is past to the second person on the first team, and so forth. While this is happening a buzzer is beep when it beeps for the final time the team with the wheel doesn't get a point. The other team does. Then the other team is allowed to guess the word the team didn't finish. If they get it right then they get another point. The first team to get I believe its 6 points wins the game. Then you start another game.

We finished this game a few times and then we cleaned up and headed home.
