THE YEAREND YOUTH EVENT!!!!!

This event was by far the best youth event of the year. This event we had a sleepover night at the church. The event started at 7:30 pm. Once most people got there we ran though everything that was going to happen during the event. After this everyone went down to Kinsmen park and just had fun. We threw the aerobie and frizbee around, kicked the soccer ball around, and some of the youth just went and had fun on the slide and swings inside the park. We went back to the church and had pizza and pop. UMMMMM!!!!! PIZZA!!!! lol We then had our devotional and a few group pictures. After the devotional and after we had time to digest our food, we played an awesome game of Fugitive. This is how the game of fugitive works. There were two people given a few pads of coloured paper (these were the passports) and were the people who gave out the passports. There were two people given Bingo stampers. These people stamped your passport. One person was chosen to be the cop. All the remaining people were given divided into two teams and each team was given different coloured glow sticks. Before the game starts, the passport people and the passport stamping people go and hide somewhere in the church. The object of the game is to find the passport people, get a passport, find the stamping people, get your passport stamped, and then return it to the person in the youth group. The team that gets the most passports stamped at the end is the winner. Sounds easy. But the catch, all the lights in the church are turned off and there is a cop chasing everyone. If the cop catches you with a passport you lose it and have to go back to the youth room and start your quest all over again. That is the game of fugitive. This was an awesome game, very very tiring but awesome. Everyone was having so much fun, scaring people and running fast. After the game we went outside to get some fresh air and cool down. By this time it was around 1:30 am. Everyone went back into the church and went to their designated areas for sleep. The guys stayed up for a little while playing Mario Kart on Nintendo 64. A few of the guys were still quite hyper at this time and a large pillow fight broke out, lol. It lasted for a good 10 minutes at least. At about 4 am mostly everyone had gone to sleep. Wake up call came at 9:00 am the next morning. Everyone went downstairs and had some muffins and watermelon. After breakfast we did cleaning and by 10:30 am everything was done and by 11 everyone had left and gone home. That was our year end party. BEST EVENT OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!

As all of you know, we got to have a sleepover last night. And that was a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sure, I only got four hours and 20 minutes of sleep, because of two certain ppl they know who they are, kept me away from all their 'sanctuary!' yelling AND the noise in the kitchen AND turning on the light at 7 in the morning but it was all fun. Around 3 or something Chelsea and I went to the kitchen to get some watermelon cuz we were hungry, hmm it was delicious! I had such a great time last night! The girls got to know our new youth sponsor a little bit since we couldn't sleep after fugitive. Vivian's really cool, I'm glad she is going to be our youth sponsor next year. We met Mikey's friend Tristan, he is really cool too, but he of course can be annoying since he and Mikey kept on stealing all of Gill's stuff and making us go on a wild goose chase trying to find it. I bet you never expected me to be going down the steps at the same time you were coming up were ya Mikey? LoL. GIRLS RULE! Than we challenged them into N64. We played fugitive, which is an awesome game, except for the fact that I hit my head on the shelf twice, tripped up and down some stairs a few times and missed a step but it was all good after that. I think the green team ended up winning, Go Green! Good job orange :) Chris you were really, really, really, really, going crazy. Everybody did an awesome job last night and I was really sad that was the last youth event until next year, we have to get together over the summer youth group! Muhaha I have my pictures!
