Remarks:
Various sources (Autokatalog, VDA) use different figures for BMW, Ford and Opel. In all cases, the cause of these differences is that the production of some models abroad is included. The figures for BMW in the Autokatalog included the Z3 production in the USA, in the above list this is corrected. The Ford figures included the production in Belgium, which I corrected (although even then, I could not match the various sources...). The Opel figures initially included the Tigra production, which is, however, built in Zaragossa, Spain.
