My Autobiography

This is the infamous book that some of you may have heard about and may have even read. I am a Sexual Abuse Survivor; my perpetrator was my biological father. I was also raped at the age of 17 by an acquaintance. I began this book in early 2000 and completed Part I in Nov. 2000. It took me 33 years to get the courage to write it. It was one the hardest things I think I have ever done. However, the book turned out to be quite a cleansing and healing process for me. I was able to shed the shame and guilt that comes from the way that I grew up and I was finally able to “cleanse” it from my soul for good, I hope. It reads like any autobiography would, including author notes and dedications. It begins with my earliest memory of about age 8 and continues until age 17.

Please beware that you will hear and read things about me that may shock the somewhat faint of heart. But know that I am not ashamed of the past any longer. It made me who I am today. If not anything else, after reading this you WILL KNOW why I am ME.
