FILAMER CHRISTIAN COLLEGE

              Filamer Christian College, Inc., a non-stock and non profit institution, was founded, organized and registered under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines for the purpose of carrying on a program of spiritual, moral intellectual, physical training and allied studies for the youth, men and women, under the influence of the Christian faith, in order to build up character and promote scholarship, research and community concern.

THE CORPORATION
Filamer Christian College as a Corporation is a non-stock, non-profit mission school, composed of 20 regular members who are holders of at least baccalaureate degrees. Membership comes from the Capiz Kasapulanan, Convention of Philippine Baptist Churches, Alumni Association and Filipino citizen of good standing in the community. Ex-Officio Members are: the President of the College, the Mission Correspondent of the Board of International Ministries, the General Secretary of the Convention of Philippine Baptist Churches, Inc., the President of the Capiz Kasapulanan of Baptist Churches, Inc., the representative of the faculty and staff of the college, the President of the of the student government, the Board Secretary and the Board Treasurer. The Corporation works primarily through its Board of Trustees.

Filamer Christian College is committed to the education of the whole person; the development of God-given talents; enrichment of the intellect; the refinement of character; reverence to God and the appreciation of God's Creation.

VISION
A dynamic Christian institution committed to quality and excellent education.

MISSION
To provide a relevant quality and holistic education for the pursuit of academic excellent and the development of the total well being of individuals in society.

GOALS

  1. To perpetuate the Christian heritage of the school as a church-related institution maintaining an ecumenical stance.
  2. To develop the spiritual, intellectual, physical, moral, economic, social, cultural and political well-being of the students through relevant quality education in a Christian atmosphere.
  3. To demonstrate Christian love by reaching out and participating in society building through community service.
  4. To promote research for the advancement of knowledge.
  5. To develop self-sufficiency and sustainability through production, enterprise and resource generation development.
