The End of the Clow
The end is near...

“Where are you going Master Eriol,” Suppi asked as Eriol zipped one of 
his luggage bags.
“Back to Japan,” he replied pulling on his jacket.
“What!?” Nakuru and Suppi shouted confusedly.
~~~Japan~~~
“Sakura, to your right,” Syaoran shouted.
Sakura turned to her right.
“Ah! Jump, release and dispel!”
“Sakura watch out,” shouted Tomoyo.
Sakura jumped to her left and was barely hit by the beam of wind.
“Now’s your chance,” Syaoran hollered.
Sakura nodded.
“Windy, return to you powers confined, Windy,” Sakura shouted as the 
tip of her staff hit Windy.
Windy returned to her card form, but suddenly began to glow green. The 
Windy card doubled and one of the copies (the real one) flew over to 
Tomoyo.
“What just happened,” Syaoran asked.
Sakura landed next to him and shrugged. Both of them turned to Tomoyo.
Tomoyo stared at the Clow Card floating in front of her. The card began 
to glow green again.
The green glow flashed and became a beam that went up into the sky. 
Slowly, the sign of the Clow appeared inside the beam.
Tomoyo began to glow purple. The Windy card floated up to the tip of 
the star’s point and the green glow disappeared, leaving a yellow glow 
from the sign of the Clow and Tomoyo’s purple glow.
The sign of the Clow started to swirl, and then it quickly went into 
Tomoyo’s chest. Her purple aura was boosted, then finally, it 
disappeared. Tomoyo fell to her knees.
“Tomoyo-chan!” Sakura shouted running to her fallen friend.
Syaoran continued to stare, not believing anything he saw.
“What the heck are the Clow Cards planning,” Syaoran whispered.
***Tomorrow***
(School)
“Good morning Sakura,” Tomoyo greeted.
Sakura nodded. “Feeling better today?”
“A lot better,” Tomoyo smiled.
The door opened and the teacher stepped in. He walked up to his desk 
and looked at the students.
“Class, today we have a new transfer student from England. Please 
welcome Eriol Hiiragizawa,” announced Tenshi-sensi.
The door opened and Eriol walked in.
***After School***
“Eriol, when did you get back,” Sakura asked.
“Sakura, something has started, and five of the Clow Cards will get 
loose,” Eriol said.
“Five of the Clow Cards already got loose, but Sakura caught one 
yesterday,” Syaoran replied.
“What?! How long ago did they get loose?” Eriol asked.
“About a month or two ago. When Touya and Yukito left,” Tomoyo replied.
“What’s going on Eriol? How did they just get loose? Or why?” Sakura 
asked.
“Why didn’t you call me,” Eriol answered.
“I did, but they said that your phone was disconnected every time,” 
Sakura replied.
“It’s the beginning of the end for the Clow cards,” Eriol whispered.
Everyone stared at Eriol with an amazed and surprised look.
“Sakura, did you notice anything weird happening when you caught the 
card,” Eriol asked after thinking a while.
Sakura nodded. “Right after I caught Windy, the card doubled and one of 
them flew to Tomoyo. Everything after that was unbelievable,” Sakura 
replied.
“Tomoyo?” Eriol whispered. “Why her?’
“Is something wrong,” Syaoran asked.
Eriol just stared at the ground for a while.
“Huh? Oh, nothing. Sorry to trouble you guys. Don’t worry about 
anything. Let’s go to the park okay,” Eriol replied smiling.
“Alright! Li-kun, you’re coming too,” Sakura shouted grabbing Syaoran’s 
arm and dragging him towards the park, leaving Tomoyo and Eriol.
“Um...Eriol, I know something’s not quite right here. You wouldn’t be 
here if nothing was wrong. I also noticed that when the five elemental 
cards got loose, Cerberus didn’t come back,” Tomoyo said with concern.
“Don’t worry about it Tomoyo, I’ll take care of everything,” Eriol 
smiled.
“Come on you two,” Sakura shouted.
“Let’s go Tomoyo,” Eriol said holding out his hand for Tomoyo’s.
Tomoyo smiled back and put her hand into his. They walked to the park 
holding each others hand.
“Ahhh!”
“Sakura!!!”
Eriol and Tomoyo stopped. Eriol turned to Tomoyo.
“Tomoyo, stay here,” Eriol commanded.
With that, he took off.
“Eriol, I can’t let you go alone. Sakura and Syaoran are my friends 
also,” Tomoyo whispered to herself. “And I won’t let you get hurt in a 
situation that includes me.”
Tomoyo took off after Eriol.
~~~King Penguin Park~~~
“Freeze card, stop Firey,” Syaoran commanded pulling out a card.
A giant fish-like creature flew out.
“Sakura, you okay,” Syaoran asked as he helped her up.
Sakura nodded and smiled weakly.
As Freeze flew towards Fiery, it began to melt slowly. Suddenly, Freeze 
began to glow and then return to it’s true form, a Clow Card.
The ground began to shake just as Eriol entered the park. He turned to 
Sakura and Syaoran.
“Sakura, Syaoran, get out of here. They’re a whole lot stronger now 
than before. Not even all of the cards you have put together can defeat 
them,” Eriol shouted.
“What do you mean them,” Syaoran shouted back.
“Don’t you sense them? This is the work of Firey and Earthy,” Eriol 
shouted in a hurry. “Get out of here!”
“But Eriol,” Sakura started.
“GO!”
Sakura and Syaoran turned to leave, but was stopped by Earthy. Firey 
lifted her arm and shot a bunch of fire balls to Eriol. Eriol dodged them 
all.
“Eriol,” Tomoyo shouted running into the park.
Earthy and Firey turned to her. Both charged towards Tomoyo at the same 
time.
“Tomoyo,” Eriol shouted.
He ran up to her and grabbed her into a tight hug just as Firey and 
Earthy’s attacks hit Eriol’s back.
“Eriol!” Tomoyo shouted with tears running down her face.
Suddenly, a green beam shot out of her and headed for Earthy and Firey. 
The green beam wrapped itself around both of them, but Firey got loose 
and vanished. Earthy was now unable to move. The green glow 
disappeared, revealing Windy wrapping Earthy tightly.
Once again, the sign of the Clow appeared turning Earthy and Windy back 
into cards. The Earthy card moved to a different point of the star as 
Windy flew to the tip again. The sign once again dissolved and 
disappeared into Tomoyo.
“Eriol, I’m so sorry. Please forgive,” Tomoyo cried holding Eriol. “I 
wanted to help my friends instead, I got them hurt.”
“Don’t blame yourself on such situations. I’ll be...I’ll be fine. It 
wasn’t your fault,” Eriol smiled. He reached his hand up to her face, and 
wiped away her tears. “You shouldn’t, it doesn’t suit you.” Eriol 
smiled again and then fainted.
“Tomoyo, we have to get him to a hospital,” Syaoran shouted.
Sakura got her cell phone out and dialed the hospital.
~*~*Hospital 2 hrs Later~*~*
The doctor walked out of Eriol’s room.
“Doctor, how is he,” Tomoyo asked immediately.
“He’s fine. It’ll be two or three days before he should begin to wonder 
around again,” he replied smiling.
Tomoyo, Sakura, and Syaoran sighed.
“There was one unusual thing about him though, his burn. It wasn’t 
ordinary. Sure it burned the skin, but parts of the bones were also, and 
his burn didn’t even go through his entire back,” the doctor continued.
Tomoyo began to look worried again.
“It’s visiting hour, so you guys are able to visit him now,” the doctor 
finished.
Tomoyo walked in followed by Sakura and Syaoran. Tomoyo walked up to 
his bedside. Eriol looked up and smiled. Tomoyo smiled back.
Sakura elbowed Syaoran and signaled for them to leave. Syaoran nodded 
and left the room, followed by Sakura. Syaoran closed the door behind 
them.
“Li-kun, Eriol’s hiding something from all of us. Why would he do 
that,” Sakura whispered as they walked down the hallway into the waiting 
room.
“I’m not sure myself, but I’ve heard of a myth where five of the Clow 
Cards did get loose. I can’t seem to remember what happened in the end 
though. It’s not like Eriol to keep secrets about the Clow Cards from 
us,” Syaoran replied.
“Oh well, it’s not like we can make him tell us. But I’m so glad Tomoyo 
and Eriol are finally together. Every time Tomoyo had nothing to do, 
she’d take the video’s with Eriol in it and watch it over and over,” 
Sakura said smiling to herself. “She loves him.”
“Really?”
Sakura and Syaoran turned around quickly to see who just spoke. It was 
Nakuru. She was standing behind them with Suppi-chan on her shoulder 
smiling.
“Nakuru? Suppi-chan?” Sakura asked quite surprised.
“Master Eriol would always walk out into the garden and look at his 
batch of purple flowers, then he’d pull out a pin. Of course, it was the 
one Tomoyo made and sent to him because she couldn’t see him off with 
the two of you. She said in the letter that she felt guilty, so she made 
it just for him,” said Nakuru.
Sakura and Syaoran stared at each other, shocked.
“He’d do that for hours, that’s why Kaho left to America.” Supi-chan 
added.
“America, but why,” Sakura asked.
“During the first two years of our return, Master Eriol would always 
stare into space. Mistress Kaho said that she found something interested 
her so she gave up her powers and left. The only power she kept, was 
when ever Eriol or any of you are in danger, she can sense it, but 
nothing can be done by her,” Nakuru explained. “She didn’t like how Master 
Eriol stared into space all the time, that’s what got her to want to go 
first.”
“Where’s Cerberus,” Suppi-chan asked.
“It’s really strange, he hasn’t woke up since this incident on the 
loose Clow Cards,” Sakura replied.
“And Yue,” Nakuru added.
“Well, Yukito and Touya are out of town. They’ve been gone for quite a 
long time. They were supposed to return a month ago, but they never 
came back,” Sakura replied.
“I don’t know about you guys, but I can feel that something really bad 
just started,” Syaoran said.
*~*~Next Week At the Beach*~*~
“You’d better hurry up if you want to win Syaoran,” Eriol shouted.
“Who’s going to be our lucky winner,” said Nakuru.
“Hey guys, it’s lunchtime,” Tomoyo shouted.
Sakura and Syaoran swam onto the shore at the exact same time. Everyone 
ran to the picnic table where Tomoyo had set up for lunch.
“Wow! You out did yourself again,” Nakuru teased.
Tomoyo smiled.
“I’m sure this’ll be delicious, so let’s eat,” Eriol added.
After lunch, everyone headed for the waters again.
“You two going to finish your race,” Nakuru asked turning to Sakura and 
Syaoran.
“Why is it that Sakura and I are always racing? Why can’t Eriol and 
Tomoyo ever race each other,” Syaoran questioned.
“Yeah,” Sakura added.
Eriol and Tomoyo looked at each other, then nodded. Both of them 
started to swim towards the starting point. While Eriol and Tomoyo were 
swimming to the starting point, something in the water was swirling. Eriol 
and Tomoyo reached the starting point and got in position.
“Go,” Sakura shouted.
Eriol and Tomoyo began to swim steadily towards the shore. Suddenly, 
“Ahhh!” Eriol turned around just in time to see Tomoyo being dragged into 
the water. Eriol dived in after her.
Eriol pulled out his staff and slashed at the object pulling on Tomoyo. 
He grabbed Tomoyo’s arm and swam to the surface of the water. He waved 
their staff and they began to float above the water towards the shore.
When they landed, Sakura ran forward and hugged Tomoyo.
“What was that,” Syaoran asked.
“That, was Watery,” Eriol replied.
Sakura, Syaoran, and Nakuru looked at him.
Watery flew out of the water and floated above the water. Everyone 
turned towards her. She stared at Tomoyo, who was standing behind Eriol.
