MAYS CEMETERY HEADSTONES
These headstones were uprooted several years ago and dumped in the Braddock's cemetery.  Members of our organization moved the stones to the St John The Evangelist Church Cemetery, near Palatka, Florida. This is near their original site.
On April 29, 2000 FCPHS members met to erect the Mays stones for proper display. Pictured are: Lynn Hoffman, Richard Jones, Gerald LeBlanc, and Wade Love.
Stones are "muscled" into place by Gerald LeBlanc, Bill Blair, Lynn Hoffman, Wade Love, and Richard Jones.

Mays Cemetery Headstones now displayed with pride. Wouldn't it be nice to have them back in the Mays Cemetery? Some stones are still missing.  The owner of the May's Cemetery property is trying to sell the property to have homes built.  Members of our organization are trying to document the fact of the cemetery site so no one can build on the cemetery.
