M E Bowen. Daughter Polly C Bowen. Son Salathiel Bowen executor. Dated
4 Apr 1829.
Witnesses Thomas Kirks, Micl. Thomason, Meriot Kirks.

The marriage record for one of these daughters is of special interest:
Martha Hicks Bowen m Archelus Morgon May 24, 1814 Mecklenburg Co.
Again we see the name Hicks. Again it relates to the descendants
of William Bowen Jr and Lucrecy. Was Lucrecy a Hicks? If so, it has not
been proven.
