Etlin Kazik was born in a hospital on Trill, but grew up on Earth after his parents accepted positions in the Trill diplomatic mission. He lived in Paris for two years before his family relocated to Buenos Aires to get away from the frantic pace of life in the capital. When he gradutated high school in 2371, he moved back to Trill for three years to study under the Trill Symbiosis Commission in the hope of gaining a symbiont. He studied medicine under the Commission and gained high enough marks to be considered strongly for a symbiont. Unfortunately, his scores were just barely too low to gain him a symbiont. Unlike most Trills who scored that close, Etlin was remarkably unnaffected by it - he had joined the Commission largely under pressure from his mother, so he was free now to apply to the Academy. His scores with the Commission were enough to guarantee him entrance into the Academy, but he was nevertheless rejected three times before gaining admission in 2377. One year later he was reffered to the Hyperion campus on an accelerated track.

Hyperion:

Etlin arrived in Hyperion City less than a day before the Nesh'ra invasion. He was trapped in the city, and worked with a Dr. Tokawa in an emergancy hospital hidden underground for days without rest. While working at the hospital, he met counsellor Dr. Zakeri Anox, who died shortly after when a bomb exploded in the library he was staying at. Luckily Dr. Tokawa was on hand to transfer the Anox symbiont to Etlin before Zakeri's death.

Anox's History:
First Host:

Melkovia Aovna, mysterious and quiet writer. During her life, Melkovia wrote several dark pieces of poetry which were later set to music by her second host. Little is known about Melkovia outside the symbiont's hosts.

Second Host:

Khazki Akora, a jack-of-all-trades and free spirit. During her life, Khazki wrote music for the poetry of Melkovia, Anox's previous host, dabbled in venture capitalism in Ferengi territory, and irritated countless dignitaries and diplomats from both within the Federation and outside it. She had an opinion on everything and a reputation for being loud an annoying, one which she well deserved however, those who grew close to her respected her blunt nature as a byproduct of her extraordinary abilities in whatever she set her mind to. She died in 2375 at the age of 97, during a vacation on Bajor.

Third Host:

Dr. Zakeri Eran, counsellor. He lived a brief life, dying in an explosion in Hyperion City in 2378 at the age of 27, during the Nesh'ra invasion. Dr. Tokawa performed the symbiont transfer to Etlin Kazik, Anox's current host.
