| Misc. Information: | Born in southern England, she joined starfleet medical in 2362. Having graduated she was assigned to the USS Infinity as Chief Medical Officer. While on the Infinity Louise moved quietly up the ranks to Commander. Transferred from medical to Command in 2376,and promoted to the rank of Captain. Was given Command of the USS Ireland, then part of the fourth Squadron, in the same year. During her time in Command of the Ireland Louise also spent a period serving with the JAG department before being promoted to fleet Captain. As a fleet Captain she served with Admiral Nick (retired)as the fourth Squadron's XO. By 2377 Louise had been promoted to Rear Admiral, and transferred to command the third squadron for a brief period. By the summer of 2377 she had been offered and accepted the post of Vice Commandant of Hyperion Campus, Starfleet Academy, under the command of then Commandant Vice Admiral J. A. Scott. When Admiral Scott retired in 2378 Louise was assigned the Commandants post. Louise Matten was promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral in late 2377. She resides on Hyperion Moon. |
