John Rasczak's parents were killed and he seriously injured when a terrorist bomb exploded aboard their runabout while on route to Earth, he was seriously
injured and feared terminally comatose, however he regained conscious 6 months later with no memory of the events. Career Record: April 2377: Graduated Hyperion Campus to the rank of Ensign after a short stint at the Warrant Officer grade, and immediately assigned to the USS Independence as Chief Security/Tactical Officer under the command of Acting Captain, Commander Joseph D'arz. May 2377: While at the rank of Ensign he and his security team were captured on a dangerous away mission, he subsequently escaped and saved the lives of his team and gathered some vital intel for the successful completion of the mission. May 2377: Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade. June 2377: Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. While at this grade Lt. Rasczak took temporary command of the USS Independence due to the incapacitation of the command staff, while in command he was engaged in combat by a Romulan Warbird, his tactical competency was proven once again, after a short JAG investigation he was cleared of any misconduct. September 2377: Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. While at this grade Lt. Cmdr. Rasczak served with distinction and honor, he went missing along with his CO and XO, for a period of 5 months, after being recovered and debriefed the mission was classified and the records sealed, immediately after this the commanding officer of the USS Independence, Captain D'Arz retired, and his XO, Commander Parker Lewis went awol, and to this day he is still unaccounted for. This left Lt. Cmdr. Rasczak in temporary command of the USS Independence, he competently closed the affairs of the ship before guiding her to Valhalla to be docked for the unforeseeable future. February 2378: Promoted to the rank of Commander. Transferred to the USS McKinley to serve under the command of Captain David Moore, as his Executive Officer. April 2378: Transferred to the SS Valhalla to serve under the command of Captain Ryan Justice, as part of the new elite Station Security and Customs wing. August 2378: Transferred to the USS Horizon to serve under the command of Captain Scott Walters, as his Executive Officer. |
