Kim Sun was born in a small village town in Okinawa. He spent most of his time in private in quiet study since their were no real suitable schools. He learned quickly; however, his problem was that he tended to skip over things he thought were boring--ie, skipping over adding so he could get to calculus. This created some problems later on- nothing that couldn't be handled however, by his reserved captain and her vindictive docter friend.
Later Kim ran into more trouble when he tried to prove to his sister that a robotic hand performs optimally when it is operated by a robot and not by a human. After being dared to prove it he installed the hand on himself and it has been the source of his contempt for his sister ever since. When he was sixteen he was accepted to Tokyo university. After two weeks of frustrating his professors to no end he was given the keys to one of the top labs and told to be good and not blow anything up. Four years later he graduated with honors in robotics and genetic engineering with a minor in astrophysics. He was accepted into starfleet and applied to be a counselor, but was told he was too insane for the job. So he shrugged off this defeat and took the post as engineer. Currently he serves as Cheif Engineer for the USS Empire. |
